I'm on AT&T, and would love to see this mod! :good:
Download Xposed Installer and then one of the modules... I THINKK it's Nottach Xposed, you can set the quick pin unlock.

I cant't seem to add widgets in secure mode on my s4(I337M). Is there anyway to force a third party widget into the lock screen without root? Thanks!

There is no way of 'forcing' a widget to the lock screen without root. Even the native widgets for the lock screen are limited to the 4 or 5 widgets you can enable/disable.
You might be able to find a theme launcher from the Play Store that can do everything you're looking for.
Here are some suggestions if you need them:
Nova Launcher
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.launcher&hl=en
Apex Launcher
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher&hl=en
Holo Locker
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobint.locker&hl=en
From the launchers, you can search additional themes that may better fit yours needs/wants.
Hope this helps!

Well, when you root your device, there are many ways you can accomplish geting custom widgets and application launchers onto your lock screen. When you root your device with an unlocked bootloader, you can flash a custom ROM with lock screen customization. If you are using a device that HAS a locked bootloader, such as the Verizon or AT&T S4 on MF3 - you can still root your device, install SuperSU and install custom APK's that will give you what you're looking for.
Use this link for rooting on MF3:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2387577
Use this link for rooting on unlocked bootloaders:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40747604
Judging that we're in the AT&T section I would assume you need the first link, but you could've found this via Search.
Hope this helps!

There's no way to put widgets on the lock screen while in secure mode. However you can still have widgets on your lock screen just when you get a PW lock then it isn't usable. Say that your doing something on your phone and you sleep it really quick and say you have the camera on the lock screen you wake the phone back up to take a picture just as long as it doesn't sleep too long and secure lock it you'll have the widgets there.

I have a ATT galaxy s4 and I was wondering how I could lock my bootloader, it keeps saying custom when I turn it on and I want that gone.

That doesn't mean your bootloader is unlocked. This can happen when you root too.
Lol no way (yet) to unlock..
mf3 rooted

Just like Whizzpopper said, if you are rooted that will cause the Custom screen to show when you boot. You have to unroot. I know Rom Toolbox has a feature that would allow you to change that screen to a custom picture/animation, but not sure if it is compatible with the S4.
Not neccessarily unlock for boot mine stayed the same till I ran wanam xposed last night, which I some what regret I think one of the changes I made (1 too many perhaps lol) messed me up I get fc for xda now when trying to give thanks reply or w.e..
Any1 kno how I can make a comma stay permanant on the stock keyboard?

Try Triangle Away to get rid of the custom screen and rest the flash counter.
hi i live in Europe and i want only Gsm phone i don't care about cdwa or sprint network.my phone has 4.3 android MDC i made the unlock i found with galaxy s4 flashed and the only thing i manage was to go from ''invalid sim'' to sim connected without network no network.i have root the phone and now running cyanogen 11 but every time i try to choose GSM network i get ''android.phone.stop''.i had also try service menu unlock without success.any idea how can i get it work???should i keep sprint kernel and try to boot samsung i9505 rom??thanks all of you in advance!!!
Your best answer will come from asking this question in the unlock thread by autoprime. My guess is that you need APNs. Did you try menu unlock while on touchwiz or CM? From what I know you have to be on Touchwiz in order to access the hidden menu.

Only on rooted models. Xposed nosafevolunewarning or gravitybox for example, or whole custom rom with fix.
S7E powered by Echoe™ v5
We need a better answer than this. Rooting isnt an option for everyone, and from what ive seen, might not be possible with this phone without causing major issues.
What do you mean "We need a better answer"?!?
This is the only way to disable the warning, you have to root!!! If you cannot or do not want to root then you have to live with the warning!
+1 rooting + something like xposed (for instance) is the only way.
I have xposed installed and nosafevolumewarning doesn't work for me...

I just switched from a Sprint Galaxy S6 to a Verizon Galaxy S7 and it's a drastic change to me lol.. First off, I wanna know if Magisk (Systemless root and Xposed) works on here and how I would go about flashing it on this device. I had the most *****in' setup on my S6, so I'm trying to replicate it to some degree.
I haven't heard anything about custom recoveries for the S7 just yet, anyone have an idea? Sorry for my noobish appearance here lol, I just need an introduction because I'm missing out on so much without my root and Xposed.
EDIT: I may have posted this in the wrong thread. If so, could a mod move it to the proper place.
Note- I am of course referring to the G930V in this post. I'm on the APH1 update.
No custom recoveries yet. The root method at the top of this forum works and gives you access to xposed. That's the best option we have right now.
Eh, I guess I will have to deal with what I have for now. Thanks for the reply.
Are there any custom kernels that can be used with the Verizon S7?
