N1 lockscreen

new to the whole theming world, but i am running cyanogen 5.0.5.1.....is there anyway to mod the lockscreen to be more like the droid where the slide to unlock is arched? or how about the app laucher...anyway to get the drawer style app launcher like the droid?

you can try some app like Lock 2.0 or you can (try) get the arched lockscreen app and push it to your phone. If you have root.

I haven't tried lock 2 but lockbot pro is quite good, I think there is a lite version too.

You can do several styles of lock screen (iphone, g1, hero, nexus)
and there is a downloadable list of custom screens and themes for each type.

compatible with any device, you need ICS...
I was born in the '90's... 1290's >

I have installed it successfully as a regular app on my SGS running ICSSGS RC4.2.
Would it create a problem if I make it a system app considering that this is an odexed ROM.?
EDIT: Converted to system app with no issues so far.

To be totally honest..
Apex Launcher > Nova Launcher
It has all the tweaks I need and it's probably the most stable ICS based launcher I've used so far.

just copy the apk file to system/app folder using any file manager like ES or root explorer.. and restart your phone...

Apps like Chronus, which can be used as lockscreen widget?

As some of you know Chronus (cClock or something of Cyanogenmod) was released yesterday, I like it, but I don't like the date being so small, and I can't change the font. Now I'm using Zooper Widget, which is nice but on lockscreen that widget scales badly on widget maximization and changes its position. So do you guys know any app like Chronus, but with more customisation? I don't really like the default Samsung clock position or font, also I want to keep the Samsung lockscreen, don't like third party lockscreen apps like Widget Locker or anything.

REQUEST - Customizable Stock Lockscreen

Hello fellow G2-Users,
One thing that bothers me with this great phone is the lack to customize the stock lockscreen. For example display calendar and weather, changing the clock etc. I know there is WidgetLocker and other apps but i want to keep the great unlocking animation from the stock lockscreen and of course knockoff from lockscreen.
Who else wants this?
Who can make this possible?

I'm using a PIN code for security, so that changes things a bit. On that version of the lock screen, you can swipe from the left and add widgets. Stock lockscreen.

Thx for your suggestion!! iam aware of that and it is also avaible without PIN security. But i want to see my next appointment and weather on the main lockscreen and change the (ugly) stock clock.

Try "Android Weather" app. It has the features you mention, you can make the widget transparent if you want, and it can be added to the lockscreen.

oh THX just realize you can remove the stock clock. wow. sometimes you dont the forest because of the trees.

ZTE Locker - Dynamic Lock Screen Wallpaper

Hello,
Does anyone know of a way to apply the ZTE Locker dynamic wallpapers to the homescreen? I checked in the homescreen wallpaper options and also in the ZTE Locker lock screen settings and couldn't find a way to do it.

EU versions haven't got this feature

I have the USA version and there is no way to apply the random ZTE Locker images to the home screen, it only works with the lock screen. You do, however, have the option to download the various images to your phone if you want.

I don't think stock launcher including this feature, i heard only about lockscreen. You should look for different launcher

I didn't think I'd care about the lockscreen wallpaper changer, but I really like it. Wouldn't mind my launcher (Nova) doing the same.

Alternatively, try 500 Firepaper from Chainfire in the Play Store.

One of my favorite app on android.
As for the dynamic lock screen missing from EU version there's third party app like next lock screen that can do even better than ZTE own way.
And doesn't have the annoying decision of ZTE not to see direct the notification alerts on lock screen but have to tap the ring icon every time.
