Hey folks
I found nothing with Google so I'm gonna ask here.
Maybe anybody has the same issue.
I can't stream any music with my nexus to my Bluetooth audio system of my seat Ibiza.
Phone calls work and everything else, only audio streaming isn't possible. It should work though, the Bluetooth audio system is capable of that as well as the nexus 4 of course.
Thanks

Check first with any other device that your stereo indeed support audio streaming. I have FlyAudio and it reports as support A2DP but it is not. So when you pairing with it, Audio option is exist but will not work.

Is there anyone out there who can help come up with a way to stream all audio to bluetooth on the new samsung Blackjack I-607
i am trying to view Sling player and listen to the audio through bluetooth
Please let me know
BluetoothAudiotoggle.EXE
Search for a little app called bluetoothaudiotoggle.exe .
I think it is posted on this site, if you cant find it here I know you can find it over at pdaphonehome.com.
edit> here is the link

If it does not work I think you should try this one. (BlueTooth Audio listed under SmartPhone Programs.)

I believe it will work on the blackjack.

Please follow the General forum; I always post my latest articles there, including a LOT of BT articles.
I've answered your question at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=281977
That is good advice, I have a question about that if someone can help me out. I downloaded both the Bluetooth audio and the other listed in this thread and both of them work on my phone and they say that they are working but i get no sound out of my BT headset. is there something else i need to know???????
i also have a blackjack and would like to listen to media files via my BT. did either of these downloads work? if so, which one? and does it matter what BT headset is being used? i have a moto H700.
Has there been any new developements in being able to listen to media thru a mono bluetooth headset on a blackjack.
Maybe this should be in Accessories, but it seems more like a general question.
I'm in the market for a bluetooth device, but being that I use my phone as a music player, I had a question.
When hooked to bluetooth, and my car stereo, is there a way to separate calls so they are routed to just the BT, but when the call ends, the music will play through the 3.5mm jack?
I'm probably not making any sense, but I hope you get the gist of my question.
Thank all!
Yeah I think its possible
I remember I had a pair of blackxbeats or something like that with my hero and when I paired it, I remember that it linked to music and calls seperately
I think you can disable the musiclink when you pairand when you're done with the car dock or whatever you just tap it and it'll take the music too.
I might buy another bluetooth because I forgot how convenient it was lol

There's a hack that will allow this but it was designed for DK28 and worked great there. Give it a little time and I'm sure they'll have it working for EB13. Title below is located in the Epic Development section.
[GPL] epicBT - Call Audio Router ( Epic4G ) - bluetooth/wired conflict hotfix - 11/26
It really depends on the BT device you get, I think. I had a Moto stereo one that allowed you to separate those functions in the phone's settings, but the Sony one I just got (model MW600) has its AVRCP functions crippled if you don't enable it for both phone and audio. This is one of the reasons I like the Blackberry Stereo Gateway, because it's designed only for audio, just a dumb but well-designed audio BT receiver that works simply and well for the car and almost never needs to be touched.
The guys at my local electronics store say Plantronics because of voice clarity.

I was able to apply this fix to legendary rom with samurai kernal el30 modem and all is working perfect.
To be exact went thru asound.conf found headphone_in call section change 4 to 5 for bluetooth restart and everythings works perfect when call comes in radio pauses and come back when call is complete. everything else like voice commands thru bluetooth dont get routed they still come thru speaker thats OK for now.
anyone know?
Sorry for the old bump, but I've googled this and can't find an answer. This is the only thread that shows up, so i figured it was better to bump than start a new one.
Few months have passed now since the launch of the Nexus 7, so can anyone answer this question yet?
Also, as I understand it, aptX is effectively a codec, presumably integrated into the bluetooth drivers. Thus, even if not supported already, is it an option in the future with a bit of hacking?
Cheers

As is Nexus 7 doesn't support apt-x. I would love to see it in future updates or be able to at least get it some other way.
Using it with Creative WP-350 Headset at the moment, stock bluetooth provides nice sound quality so I can only imagine
how good would it be with apt-x running.
There's two problems I cant figure a fix for - noticeable delay in sound - in gaming very annoying, so that's one
cause I managed to get Mx Player play movies OK, no delay - while using H/W decoder (not the "+" one)
But the second thing is and its probably connected to the delay issue - when using the tablet - no music in the background - I can hear the headphones switching, when the sound is comming and going. Lets say I select any of the apps, or select touch one of the options, when I`m
about to hear the standard selection action sound, I'll hear the headphones switch on,I can hear static. play the sound and switch off again - no static.
All this with less than a second delay witch probably is the reason for even noticing the damn thing
Getting the Apt-X support and fixing the sound playback delay would be vital for my personal Full enjoyment of the Nexus.
well... maybe I'm forgetting to moan about partial existence of Play Store and Google Wallet in Europe (Ireland in my case)
thereof lack of 25 USD bonus with the purchase, and no access to the Free Transformers film
but that's for different thread
I'm in Europe too (Italy) but is possible to get the 25$ play store bonus using a vpn while registering your device,i red a guide somewhere here in xda to do this and it worked perfectly
Anyway I'd love to have apt-x codec support for nexus 7 and the audio delay through bluetotooth fix.. I hope somebody will figure out how to do this.

nexus 7 apt-x.
could you guys confirm?
New Nexus 7.2 with APT-X?
Does the new Nexus 7.2 support APT-X. codex.
APT-X is bluetooth that send music in CD qualify wireless.
All new high - end smartphones like HTC ONE and Samsung G3 and G4 have it, and together with a APT-X dongle (like QUE uPlay puck) connected to a amplifier or bluetooth speaker with built-in APT-X (like Klipch or Loeve2go) The sound is really great to listen to!
Nexus 7.2 is a low - budget tablet and there is no clue in tecnical spec. about APT-X . Does it support APT-X?

APT-X is a purly software decoder for audio and if your bt head set suport it then it is possible if some one can povide lib for nexus 7. And of cause this will be ileagal because CSR has contracts only with HTC and SAMSUNG
Nexus 7 apt-x transmission
Will hooking the nexus to an apt-x transmitter (eg: creative usb BT-D1) via an OTG cable help?
I have a toyota Camry 2011 which has a bluetooth system. No entue, just bluetooth. When I connect to it with both call and media audio enabled. DIsplay says streaming audio and immediately starts playing Lg Music app. Now if I switch to spotify or pandora, my car immediately pauses the music and then won't let me play spottify or pandora audio. I need help. I love this phone but I can't seem to get this work. I love streaming music.
Its almost as if Toyota keeps trying to connect to Lg Music app despite stitching to pandora. This used to work when I had and SG3. In that I could switch to pandora and no problems. I think the problem is that as soon as bluetooth connects LG Music app starts playing but I don't want it to.
If you're rooted, you can always freeze that app. I wouldn't delete it in case it's tied to something else. You could also try deleting all of the songs that are in LG music.

I second [email protected] Can you disable lg music in apps? If not, root and freeze it.

I don't want to get off topic, but you're right. This is the real problem. You can see it whenever engineers with "just show up" degrees are tasked with anything. The idea is a result of just getting something to work in order to pass a QA check. QA will typically have a couple of scenarios to run through and if the code makes it through the scenario, it's considered gold. No effort is extended to actually understand the context of the code being written, or the spec being written to.
If everything was written per the specification, there would be no interop problems... But writing a complete implementation might cost a bit more, so eff it.
I actually have a similar problem with my new LG G2 and 2010 Camry.
I can pair it as a phone device, but not properly as an BT audio device. It pairs as a phone and makes calls just fine, but as soon as I try to set it up as an audio player, the phone all of a sudden can't find the car's bluetooth. BUT it will still play audio through the car stereo with apps like Pandora, however, I have zero control capabilities from the car and it playback will stay connected. Stereo just says "No devices found".
I also came from a S3 and it worked fine as a phone and audio player with this car. Seems like the new phone doesn't mesh well with the stereo?
The audio quality of the G2 over a2dp is horrible just like the two phones by LG before it, not sure what the deal is
OP have you found a fix for this? Just disabling the stock Music Player?
Is any news or solutions?
The A2DP audio is great. Enable Apt-X? There is a prop trigger. This phone IS Apt-X capable, confirmed through logcat. Research before you down a product. Different paired products will always behave differently.
I have the same problem in my 2012 FJ Cruiser except Poweramp automatically starts even though the BT settings are set not to. Anything else pauses after 2 seconds.

True, but "there is an app for that".
Modified Spotify client with included TrackID fix. I use it in my VW Golf with my LG G2.
Use the latest version in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44108915#post44108915
I still couldn't find any solutions until now. Could you?
ask your audio manufacturer to update software, unless its old bluetooth and thus not feature supporting.

LG G2, stock 4.2.2 and Toyota Avensis 2011 -
Google Music - ok + track info;
LG stock player - ok + track info;
Rdio - ok - no track info;
Spotify - no sound, no track info (steer buttons ok - play, pause).
I posted this same question in the main thread, but I didn't get much of a response for it, and the ones that responded didn't have the same issue I was having. When I have my phone connected via bluetooth to my truck, I can make/receive calls, play the music on my phone using the Play Music application, but when I try to play a YouTube video or something from Hulu, I have absolutely no audio output. They work fine through the actual phone speaker, but when connected to bluetooth, I get nothing. I have a 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Has anyone else had bluetooth issues similar to this? I have completely reverted back to 4.3 with Odin, then did the whole update process back to 4.4.2 deodex, but I still have this same issue. Please help!
Can you play vids from any app and get audio?
It sounds like you may not. Like it's restricted and will only send over audio from system and music apps. Kinda like in-dash dvd player/stereos have a sensor and will only show video when the car is in "park".

No. The only luck I've had, is audio from calls and music that's on my phone. Hulu and YouTube worked before on 4.3, but won't on 4.4.2. I've deleted all of the devices that are paired to my truck, and have repaired my phone so that it is the only one. Still no luck.
