Hey folks,
Got a Nexus 4 and trying to figure out what Class of Bluetooth is used? I know it's Bluetooth 4.0, but what Class is it? 1 or 2? Need to know so that I know what kind of range I can get.
Thanks

I've searched and I think I'm right when I say Nike supports SD 2.0. But that means exactly?
I can use class 6 speed ?
Nobody knows ?
Hi there
I am thinking of buying a cheap new Nokia phone in order to Bluetooth tether it to my Nexus.
The best options on my budget right now are Nokia C3 or Nokia 6700 classic.
I have read mixed messages online regarding whether Bluetooth tethering works on these phones with Nexus 7.
So I just wanted to ask if anyone has successfully attempted Bluetooth tethering with these phones on a nexus 7.
I would really like to be sure before I purchase them.
Thanks in advance.

It would be better if you could borrow a friend's phone before buying..
Anyway all nokia symbian phones seems to work on android using BlueDUN
or if you have an existing android phone, you may set it up for bluetooth tethering (FoxFi to the rescue)

I found this about doing it with the Nexus 7, I'm wondering if its possible to do with the Nexus 10... from here:

Can anyone with technical knowledge of the devices tell me if the same process would allow me to do it with my Nexus10? I'm thinking of buying a decent setup, a FiiO E07K and some new headphones. I'm just wondering if the process would work on my version of the Nexus.
Wow lots of views but no comments

Any idea if the Nexus 10 will support BLE with 4.3 ? ... I dont know if im misinformed or something i was reading , and watches some videos about it and they talk about the update bringing BLE to Nexus 4 and The New Nexus 7, nothing about OG N7 , N10 or the GNEX.

Since no one seems to have a clue: I tested this with my Nexus 10. Updated to 4.3 and tried to pair it with a TI SensorKit. No success.
If someone still wants to know: No BLE for Nexus 10

To elaborate on this, bluetooth pairing is different from BLE pairing, so you don't see BLE devices in the android bluetooth pairing screen.
However, you are right to say that the Nexus 10 has no BLE: I am currently developing a BLE application and while it discovers BLE devices when running on the Nexus 4, it doesn't when running on the Nexus 10.
So I guess the hardware is not present, but there is also no runtime error that says so.
Almost two years ago, I only got one update. Is there a problem? Is there a way to install updates. My screen is Class Pro, Android 9
