We cannot flash anything that hasnt been signed/compiled by LOKI.
Oh Duh I forgot this forum is merged with Canadian variants of our device haha
The Canadian i337m doesn't require LOKI.
I know we can flash i9505 ROMs (as long as we don't flash their modem) but not sure about the TMO ones.
I'm hoping for some T-mobile roms to be signed by LOKI. While I have/getting it today a AT&T SGS4, my provider is T-mobile.
According to the following link "GT-i9505, Canadian SGH-i337M, and T-Mobile SGH-M919 are all compatible (meaning you can install ROMs from each other!!! e.g. you can install T-Mobile ROM on GT-i9505 or vice versa)".

yes, yes, yes, yes, you can run those roms, yes again.
I have everything you need to know, right here..

I'm trying to flash CWM recovery and only see Galaxy Tab for Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
For Canadian people (I'm on Rogers), do I assume that I use the AT&T one as it is the only GSM option?. Thanks!.
Also, does this mean that AT&T roms will work fine for Canadian people on Rogers?. thanks.
nothing? I also meant to clarify by saying the ATT one is the only compatible GSM option for Rogers Wireless users.
ATT is Rogers/Telus/Bell, Tmobile is Wind/Mobilicity and Verizon is CDMA.

Thanks. Why are there 3 separate versions in CWM then? Also, from what I understood, some ROMs weren't compatible with different carrier ROMS.
ie. I had a Motorola Atrix and they said not to flash it if you were on Rogers....

Because of kernel differences.
I would go flash richardtrip's kernel. Its compatible with your tablet and it comes with CWM
This is not a development topic.
These type of topics go into General or Q&A.

What's up XDA
First off this is not another thread asking if it's possible to use AT&T's LTE on the i9505.
(I already know it can be done.)
Rather, I'm asking if there is some official process (maybe a thread) for enabling it on the phone.
In my search I've seen bits an pieces of what to do, like:
1. Flash the modem needed for At&t.
2. Ensure they have your phone set to an LTE plan.
3. Set the APN up to use LTE.
But many post are conflicting, and some seem to indicate that you don't have to do anything.
That's why I'm asking for a step by step. I apologize if there is already a thread that addresses this. (Truly, I tried to find it.)
Thanks in advance for any help
Well, can anyone please tell me if this much is true.
I just need to flash an At&t rom to use LTE? Or can, you use LTE without an At&t rom?
I'd really like to avoid the bloat. (That's one of the reasons why I want the i9505)
I am in the same situation. Have you had any luck? Thanks

Did you guys have any luck with this? I know we need to flash an i337 modem, but I can't find one anywhere!

ummm look in the i337 section.
Ive been cleared by a verizon employee to root my phone, sense its a local branch i'll still have my warrenty with them. The particular rom I wanted was X-note, but could only find it for att&t and tmobile models. If this has already been answered please point me to the right direction!

On the Verizon Retail version, you can only run Touchwiz ROMs found in this Android Development section (that function with Hashcode's SafeStrap). If you want to run a ROM from anything else, you will need a Verizon Developer Edition, with an unlockable bootloader.

Wow, thats unfortunate So in a nut shell Im unable to run Cyanogenmod11 and x-note?
Does that just leave me with the roms listed under my Model and roms tab?
Is the only way to flash a rom on my phone through a sd card? Im not worried about tripping nox so thats not a problem. I just didnt want to fill my sd card up with misc files..

Yes, only Verizon Touchwiz based ROMs that work with Safestrap.
Hi all,
I got a SM-N900W8 from someone in Canada and I was hoping if it'll work on tmo in the US. I tried to flash a tmo rom using Odin 3.09, didnt work. Tried to flash the modem as well, didnt work. Got a "fail" message both times. I was hoping to find a manuel, or someone that has the majic solution.
HELP!!
Thank you guys
Bump.
To further clarify, I'm just looking for a way to get my SM-N900W8 work on tmobile

If memory serves me correct, you can flash a T-Mo ROM (custom N900T only, not stock via ODIN) but you will need to flash a w8 kernel in order to boot it. Or at least you used to be able to. Not had an N3 for a while now so a bit out of the loop. But I wouldn't suggest this route unless someone can clarify for sure.
However, you should be able to pick up T-Mo service on the W8 using the correct APN but you won't be able to get LTE afaik. Most you'll get is H+ due to the radio being different. I think there was a guide to be able to get T-Mo LTE from one of the non T-Mo devices (T-Mo's is the N900T for the record)
Hey guys,
is it possible to use one of these in Europe with full 4G support? Can I flash ROMS that are meant to be used on the European model and it will fix the antenna or should I flash specific Verizon ROMS and then flash an european modem, if at all possible? I thank any input because I'm clueless.
Thanks!

So you're saying there is zero chance of making it work by flashing something?
Thanks all!
