Galaxy S3 Weather Widget for the Galaxy S4?! - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, is there a way to port the Weather Widget from the Galaxy S3 to the Galaxy S4? I love the S3 Widget, but the S4 Widget is ugly
I hope you can help me!

niether i do but maybe if u make a request someone may do it

Surely you can just copy the widget/app over if you have root access?
What's the difference out of interest, any screenshots?

of course it wouldn't dude it ain't that easy as far as i know u need to resize png9 pictures and do xml coding if not smali which is really hard and make it a zip file to flash it in cwm

Is that with you putting it in the system/app folder? Or just trying to install it as a regular apk?

I put it in system/app. Do you know one who could port the widget? Any good themer or somebody else?

I don't, but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work if you copied everything over. Does it depend on another app at all to work? If so, you'd need that too.

i had before the S4 a Galaxy Note and there was the same problem with the widget, so i pushed the 3 AccuWeatherWidget apk's and it worked on my GN, but on the S4 not. hm..

I do, actually i have the whole system/app folder deodexed, (p708g) just ask if you need any other file

My model doesn't come with a weather widget, and the stock keyboard doesn't work after deodexing, Sorry.
take a look on the main thread of L7(p700) development, i have seen a fix for the stock keyboard there

Can someone make a rom for GT-I9505 with all the working S5 apps, system UI and stuff like that?

Screen share help!

Hey guys!
Need some help with screen share for my note 3. I have a lg smart tv lb6350. When i try to connect my phone with the tv, it just says that the connection failed.
Im using the S5 rom on the phone. Could that effect anything?
I also tried the screen mirror patch on the play store. Didnt work
Any help would be awsome.

It sure could be the reason that you're using s5 rom. Did you look at the rom thread for kown issues?

Couldn't find anything on the thread. Is there another way to fix the problem other than just installing another rom?
And my badd about the second post. I only put it there cas i thought this was in the wrong section.
I remember reading something about problems with screen mirroring and s5 rom on note 3 maybe someone can tell for sure but I'd say you have to change the rom

This might be a launcher or a CM theme or Flyme OS or MIUI.

Hm, I would guess that it's MIUI, with a theme applied. That said, it could very much be any rom with a custom theme/launcher.

Basically we cannot see the notification area. (Wifi toggles, bluetooth etc etc when we pull down from the top)
Can you get that arranged please.
Launchers/CM/PA/MIUI/Flyme all have a different notification tray. If we get to see that, anybody can tell what rom it is.

To be frank, it can be anything. Launcher,MIUI anything.
It is something to do with MIUI as @Takenoko_ said...its android, n number of possibilities..

Miui Rom with Placid theme (guess for the theme, not for the rom)
Or theme 7 is similar (it is the official miui theme link)
