[Q] CWM with Framaroot

Hello every one,
I have rooted my device with framaroot, is there a way to get CWM installed. I dont wanna flash my device with a kernel or a costum Rom?

Mobile Odin....extract recovery.img from .zip recovery and flash
Job done

Allegedly, but then I have also heard of problems with it, so no real comment on that I'm afraid

I use rom manager all the time, no problems here.

Constellation? ....configuration?....If you have a custom recovery, then yes.....plenty of reading and learning to do before you jump head first into anything

I recoverd in cwm. And yes I mean configuration
I mean flash odexed apps or widgets. I know that I can't flash for example a costum Rom.

Nothing to stop you flashing a custom Rom, but if you want to stay with a stock odexed Rom there are quite a few mods in themes and apps that can be applied to odex Roms, just make sure you read thoroughly and understand what you are doing, before you do it

I would like stay with stock Rom and kernel. What is important when I flash themes apps or widgets? I think I need odexed files in my case

Yes, stock Roms are odexed, so just make sure whatever modification you use is suitable for an odex Rom

Galaxy S3 Weather Widget for the Galaxy S4?!

Hey, is there a way to port the Weather Widget from the Galaxy S3 to the Galaxy S4? I love the S3 Widget, but the S4 Widget is ugly
I hope you can help me!

niether i do but maybe if u make a request someone may do it

Surely you can just copy the widget/app over if you have root access?
What's the difference out of interest, any screenshots?

of course it wouldn't dude it ain't that easy as far as i know u need to resize png9 pictures and do xml coding if not smali which is really hard and make it a zip file to flash it in cwm

Is that with you putting it in the system/app folder? Or just trying to install it as a regular apk?

I put it in system/app. Do you know one who could port the widget? Any good themer or somebody else?

I don't, but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work if you copied everything over. Does it depend on another app at all to work? If so, you'd need that too.

i had before the S4 a Galaxy Note and there was the same problem with the widget, so i pushed the 3 AccuWeatherWidget apk's and it worked on my GN, but on the S4 not. hm..

S5 Rom

Can someone make a rom for GT-I9505 with all the working S5 apps, system UI and stuff like that?

I will make a flashable zip with all s5 stuff but need help hopefully @Repulsa willhelp

I delete my apk weather LG G2 from stock KK 4.4.2 EUROPE OPEN V20D. Can I ask for making me recover the file. I Instal by TWRP.

Files of this post does not work you can not extract.:crying:

I have root, yoda kernel 3.5, and TWPR

Copy the .apk and the .odex File to System/app and Set the rights to rw-r--r--
And reboot

This might be a launcher or a CM theme or Flyme OS or MIUI.

Hm, I would guess that it's MIUI, with a theme applied. That said, it could very much be any rom with a custom theme/launcher.

Okay, thanks to you two so far, maybe there is somebody who recognizes it by a happy coincedence

Basically we cannot see the notification area. (Wifi toggles, bluetooth etc etc when we pull down from the top)
Can you get that arranged please.
Launchers/CM/PA/MIUI/Flyme all have a different notification tray. If we get to see that, anybody can tell what rom it is.

To be frank, it can be anything. Launcher,MIUI anything.
It is something to do with MIUI as @Takenoko_ said...its android, n number of possibilities..

Miui Rom with Placid theme (guess for the theme, not for the rom)
Or theme 7 is similar (it is the official miui theme link)
