[Q] Bug with volume button[exists in both CM10&CM10.1] - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I click the Volume+ button, instead of turning the volume up 1/7,it goes randomly form 2/7 to 4/7,
while the Volume- button functions normally
Both CM10 and CM10.1 has this problem. MIUI v5 does not.
Curiously enough,I heard someone has the same problem, the only difference is it's Volume- button that has bug in his case.

[Q] Remapping power button

Accidentally dropped my nook color and now it's acting weird. When I'm using it the menu that appears on power button press appears and sometime the device will randomly shut off soon after. I think something with the power button broke when the device was dropped. Is there any way to map the power button to one of the volume bottoms and then turn off the original power button?
BTW I'm using cm7 with the latest nightly build.
Thanks
No, the button is hard wired and not changeable. You might find a way to change for shut down purposes, but not start up.

It's not possible, i did some tests and i noticed that the volume buttons work like power button only for a few second after screen off.
I've remapped keys and i've assigned to key 114 (volume down) the value POWER WAKE. It works fine only for a few second...it is as if the system stops feel the volume keys a few seconds after turning off the screen.
I tried on these occasions to join the pin's connector with a screwdriver and the screen is on .... then the power button feels right.
I'd like find a way to hear the system the volume button to hear the system the volume button after a few seconds after turning off the screen

LG G2 power button not working

Hey there!
I'm using my LG G2 for half an year now. Unfortunately my screen broke, so I replaced it with a new one. Everything worked great exept for the power button. The Volume Up/Down keys do still work. Strange thing is that the power button works if I force power off it (by pressing the power button for 10 seconds), but the wake function is broken. I've also tired to replace the power button but still no success. Can you help me out?
Regards,
Benjamin Stütz
