S voice for HD2

Just wanted to tell you that the ripped off S Voice from the Galaxy S III is working on HD2 (NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.1).
So if anyone is interested and didnt catch the link from the Frontpage of XDA yet, here is the link:

Just install like any regular APK.

Tried it on SD Tostidroid B36, crashes when it's time to answer.

Tried it on NexusHD2, and it seems to be very inconsistent. Sometimes it works well, and others it comes up with 'network error' when there clearly isn't. Looks like it's fairly good but, as much as I hate to say it, no contender for Siri.

hmm, i.never got the network error. So far i think this the best version for Android. still find it to gimmick too say it's useful., though i keep it
And we'll about the crash i have no idea. Only thing i know is that it requires Android.4.0

To be honest, I too can't think of a reason/situation where I would genuinely use it, so I really don't care whether or not it works I did try using it today to text my friend, and that went fairly well but there were some errors.

Here is a better link which helps one avoid many FCs and errors

Unfortunately, nothing beats Siri in terms of voice control apps.

Works on my HD2 but my friend gets the "Network Error" on his Galaxy Note N7000

[Request] Meizu Flyme OS 1.0.1 port for our i9100

Dear developers,
First of all thank you for your excellent work to all of you. I was watching a review of the Meizo MX 4 core and I really liked the interface. It reminds me of MIUI but more polished if you get my point. I've searched everywhere but I can't find any port of it on the web. Does anyone agree with me that this should be ported ?

Why don't u just buy Meizu MX4 (by selling ur S2?) ? It's cheaper than ur S2 ofcoz..

First of all I don't want to sell the s2 because I don't like the meizu's design. And Tyr s2 is the overall better phone in my opninion.
And sorry if this is the wrong section, could you please tell me in wich section I should post it ?

Flyme indeed looks good.. Way better than touchwiz and in my opinion AOSP aswell.. But it'll be a nightmare, why?
CPU/GPU combo..the S3 OS porting is in a rough patch.. MX4 is almost same..
Flyme's customisations run deep into the OS, like Sense..
From a chinese company so you'd be lucky if you find any documentation at all..

Tested it. It seems to be awesome.
Flashed via CWM and then flashed Dorimanx kernel on it straight away.

in this DUTCH article it says that we dont have to wait so long for the update and that the update only comes from KIES because your phone will complete get a new partitioning
so will it come in this month i think so!!

The dutch article is only citing the original thread from sammobile.com from the 5th with news for the SII. And in this article I didn't see any statement talking about the Note.

I recall seeing an article relating to the s2 getting a jb update, it said that it would only be update able via Kies cause of an hour long repartition which is needed, thus losing 1gb of user space.
I assume it will be a similar method with the note, but we have more space than the s2 so the repartition may not be necessary. However it might be the solution to some of the issues the leaks have, with memory leaks and storage issues??
Who knows? But I'm sure it's in the pipelines already.

Well let me share something with you.....check out my dropdown notification:laugh::cyclops:
Thinking about making it available for Omega users only when I get the time.....what do you think. I could make it stock look and non-transparrent also so the toggles would just be at the bottom....but also like mine and maybe have some other flashable images too!
I think it looks pretty cool imo........................

That looks sick mate... You should definitely make it a mod in your theme-thread... And while ad it.. I think you should combine those 2 great themes into 1 thread so people see both of your great work at 1 place...

Thanks man.......It is still very much a work in progress as I would like to do this without the need to replace the SystemUI.apk.....so I am messing around with VRTheme to just replace the necessary .xml's, resources, etc and I also want to change the colour of the text so it is a little more clear. And this involves messing around with .xml in the framework-res.apk also..........not too difficult but time consuming.:crying:

Hello all.
I am new here in this forum but I like this Omega rom and I can't wait to try v24.
marcjuh I think if this theme is on top of the main page on Omega Rom people will notice it and will not spam on the main thread.
I have a question.
I am now with LSW firmwere 4.1.2 with HiroX 5.8 Medium kernel.
Can I install omega v24 when it is out directly or I have to do something else before that?

So I really like v23. There are 2 things that bug me coming from cm10.1. Not showstoppers just it just bugs me
I like the cool colorful settings menu, but the bigger size bugs me....
The other one is the toggles, I wish I could change the color or something...
Will v24 be different in these areas or are there other ways to change these?

Hi
For the toggles... Just go in def-thread and hit searchbutton enter toggles and you'll find lots of them..
Ore you could try themes... Like carlm his 2 beautiful themes, carotix his themes ore look in omega filles /themes...
You also can adjust the letterstyle and size look in settings ore dl a letterstyle from playstore and set letters smaller...
You can adjust the dpi in root.. But that can cause problems with some apps and so..
For flashing the rom over another kernel... Its been proven some time back that before flashing the rom..
*use kernel-wipe
*use romewipe
* wipe cach
*wipe dalvic
*flash philsz kernel cuz omega is build on that kernel...
*reboot in recovery
*flash rom with full wipe
-after install dont reboot just hit back button untill you return in cmw and fix permissions in advance menu....

Happily waiting for omega v24. Any change log available yet? I know it was being reserved for indee to post but perhaps now it is in beta he's put it somewhere for public consumption?
