As per the tittle, since open webOs beta has been released. it has a desktop version running linux for developing and porting it to new devices and a embedded thingy which i have now idea what is. anyway, what I'm asking is, is it possible to port it to our x10 might be something nice and new for us to experience

FXP said that cm10 was the last cyanogenmod they would do for the xperia 2011 line.
But that could mean they will get cm10.1 android 4.2.....

Haha. Jerpelea himself said that we are not getting anymore updates on cm 10. Lost all hope for an fully functional cm10.
So much for "theres always Cyanogenmod" who cares, I'm glad I got my Galaxy s3 when I did, Pretty sad to see yet more developers leave us though.
Now that Roman is no longer building AOKP, who is the best alternative?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Where did you get this from? He still builds. You know aokp is a team of developers right?

He posted the other day he was working on toggles so...
I think he made this post just because he hasn't posted an unofficial build since late Jan. Roman is still working on aokp, just be patient.
That's great news, I'd never be able to find the source that said he wasn't building any more but I might be mistaken. I've been using Steve's builds more recently.
Thanks for the replies though folks

It's not ready for downloads yet as the touchscreen is rotated 90° from the display screen, but I just wanted to give anyone interested a small peek... Currently using verygreen's repos so props to him and all those devs before Posting from my phone currently, hopefully the pic uploads, if not I will need to get to the computer later...

I'm willing to be the guinea pig for testing this new interface.
builds for this (and nook tablet) are currently boot looping due to changes in the phablet repos. Waiting for updated instructions to see where to go from here, but still working at it!

Wow, really looking forward to this. Didn't realize it was this close
I would like to try it on my Nook HD+...
Anyone working on a MIUI port? I wish I had the brains to do it! I haven't seen any threads on this yet. Seeing as we now have stable AOSP-based builds, it seems that MIUI would come eventually. At least I hope!
Son, don't worry about it. I'll get it done. I did it for the Xperia Z with @alnikki25k, we can do it again. Just don't want someone to beat me to it

Yes would be great to see miui to the g2. So many roms coming to the g2 its hard to choice one to stick with

I Looked for MIUI based on 10.2/4.3 only thing i found was Avater Rom Cm10.2/miui hybrid it would prob be a quick port to if based on 4.2.2
Avatar ROM is a joke. What you need to do is use our Xperia Z MIUI ROM as that's a CM base and then port this over it. Its fairly quick to do but we are giving permission for people to use out MIUI base as we want to be first.

Also, I'm looking forward to MIUI for G2 D802, thanks

There is plenty of guides. You need to learn how to read logcats and also use a kernel which is the same on your device. Its easy but long to do so

Thanks for your hard work in the past and present (and TIA for future work as well)!
I'm happy to see this. I like the LG UI, and I've been running Malladus about the entire time I've had my G2, but I just booted up my old SGS3 (currently running MIUI) to restore it back to stock, and boy, do I already miss it.
I really need to start putting some time aside to start learning and understanding the code. Wouldn't mind lending a hand down the road. :highfive:
Anyone one know of any progress?
