Seems like FreeXperia is dropping the play and other xperia 11 devices - Xperia Play General

Look at their new website, xperia 11 devices are not under supported devices anymore they are in lagacy now... does it mean they are dropping support?

FXP said that cm10 was the last cyanogenmod they would do for the xperia 2011 line.

But that could mean they will get cm10.1 android 4.2.....

Hopefully, yes.

This phone is now dead.

Haha. Jerpelea himself said that we are not getting anymore updates on cm 10. Lost all hope for an fully functional cm10.

So much for "theres always Cyanogenmod" who cares, I'm glad I got my Galaxy s3 when I did, Pretty sad to see yet more developers leave us though.

you seem to be left out of the crowd lol
X10 is an "old" phone, and SE said that they wouldn't be updating it anymore- but since we're getting official cyanogen mod, SE support doesn't matter and we are most likely to get ICS from CyanogenMod, probs called cyanogen mod 8 o

I'm sure the devs will port. And I'm sure that J, Achotjan, spaarc and blackwatch and others will port it with few bugs obviously. I hope they do.

Shoulnd u be in Q&A?
Anyway, as the source code hasn't been released yet I'd say no, ports of the sdk are probably around soon enough but you'll have wait another month or so before the interesting stuff starts.

Second, why in the Dev Section?
Third, what the hell is your question?

Sony should look at this..

This just goes to show you Xperia Play can do anything that Android 4.0 or 4.1 can....
The Original Motorola Droid... with a fully functional ported Jelly Bean 4.1.1 rom.

In the context that he put it, yes it is.
why do you guys not get the message, xperia play performance was not the reason. The reason was the gaming and touchpads. get over it
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk 2
This post has nothing to do with "trying to change anything" or "getting a msg" .... Im pretty sure my R800x got the msg when VZ messed up 2.3.4 and is not about "feeling bad for yourself that sony didnt release 4.x.x" :silly:
Since this is the general section of a forum on xda.. I was merely sharing some insight into another android device ...

Open WebOs is it possible to port to x10?

As per the tittle, since open webOs beta has been released. it has a desktop version running linux for developing and porting it to new devices and a embedded thingy which i have now idea what is. anyway, what I'm asking is, is it possible to port it to our x10 might be something nice and new for us to experience

Sony Mobile releases Firefox OS firmware for Xperia E available for developers

This might be interesting.
Sony Xperia Developer World Post Blog post here.
Sorry if I'm late and this is already posted.
Sony Mobile's independent developer support is top notch as they have demonstrated again.
How could we get one of these??
Is there any change to get one of these in South America?
Is there a chance to install this rom in my Xperia ARC?
Not this exact ROM.

No.
A developer may port FirefoxOS to the Xperia Arc but currently no.
Please do not try or you may permanently break your device if you manage to flash it with this.
