Something like this?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pannous.voice.actions.free

no, I meant
OFFLINE VOICE RECOGNITION:
To make the speech recognition work offline follow these steps:
1) Open Google Now by long pressing the home button.
2) Got to settings by long pressing the menu button.
3) Select the Voice option.
4) Then select the last option that's 'Download Offline Speech Recognition.
so it was on my old mobile phone.
on the L7 i can´t find this option.
in CM10 also

Skype on X01HT

I installed Asukal's MUI (Thanks Asukal, really useful...)
However installing skype... leads me to a japanese version of skype... Whatever I do... Whcih is reallya pain for me !
Anybody had this problem ? Some ideas on how to fix it ?
I've installed Skype on my X01HT now twice, once with the JasJam rom, and once with the new Softbank Rom, using Askuls hack.
The key is that I downloaded the CAB file directly from Skypes site, and then executed it on the phone after transferring it to the card. If you're having trouble getting to the english version of the skype site from in Japan, just scroll to the bottom, and select the english language version of the page. It took me awhile to find it, but you'll eventually get the language of the page, and program of your choice. Good luck!

Unfortunately that's what I did (get the cab from my PC, on the English website)
Anyway if it worked for you, it should work for me
So I am going to give it a try once again ! (And check each step this time !)
Skype CE is multilingual application, no matter what you install, it seems to check your localization settings on startup and change language according to it. On my x01ht I had to open Skype in Japanese and than change language in Skype options...
It should not be hard, just follow these steps (I assume no WiFi available):
1. Open Skype
1a. If you get warning that you can only use cellular network, accept it (I don't remember which button, try left)
2. Sing in with your username and password, tap サインイン button
3. Confirm WiFi not available windw (OK)
4. Go to menu (メニュー)
5. Go to setup menu (設定 (E))
6. Select English language in language menu (言語), confirm OK, OK
7. Exit Skype, menu (メニュー), exit (終了(G))...
At next Skype start, everything should be in English...

Hey,
Does HTC Aria support hebrew?
Can you read hebrew SMS messages?
Hebrew keyboard?
Thank you,
Oved
Yea, I believe AnySoftKeyboard, which lets you install multiple-language keyboards, from the Market has a Hewbrew keyboard.
I just got my new HTC ARIA & tried installing AnySoftKeyboard.
It say it was installed successfuly but i cant see the program in my device.
Any idea someone?
make sure to enable the keyboard through setting >> language and keyboard.

Keyboards will not be found in programs , but can be seen in Settings>Applications if installed.
To activate go to Settings>Language&keyboard to activate and configure.
To set the Input Method (choose the keyboard you want to use when multiple keyboards are activated) , do a long press on any text input box (i.e. google search) and select Input Method.

i have this rom installed but i have some concerns
why when i type the numbers in, it doesnt show me the names of my contacts so i can simply choose and dial (like auto search in keypad) why do i have to go in contacts each time and then choose to call ??
secondly there are some fixes for example
"3. Tweak /system/etc/init.d/vdd_levels for stability or battery life!"
how to tweak this ?
or this
1. Install any optional CWM .zip files such as AngelDeath's Faster GPS Fix or another preferred kernel.
??
thank you for your help and time.

Use DailerOne app from market, t's free, it has predictive seaching on it's dialpad ... just type in the name as you would in predictive searching, and then name should come up in a jiffy ...
I use it quite frequently, quite handy ...

[Q] How do I remove words from stock autocorect

Hi all
Short:
How do I remove a single preset(stock) autocorrect "rule" or word from a language?
My problem:
I use my phone with Norwegian and out of the box the autocorrect got a pretty annoying fault.
When i type "Hei" that means " hello" in Norwegian, the autocorrect corrects it to "Hdi".
"Hdi" got no meaning in Norwegian and this is pretty annoying since it doesn't learn that it is wrong over time.
I use the latest ROM by pdaimatejam at all time, WP 7.8
Link to ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1356833
I guess i will be able to use cab sending to "update" my language with a language cab.
I have because of this searched through a language cab file to try to find it, but i have not succeeded in finding it.
To get to the files in cab I used WinRAR to unpack the language cab, and then used it once again to unpack the pkg files in the extracted folder.
Is there anyone who knows how what file I have to find and edit?
I do only want to remove a single word
settings - keyboard - typing settings
click on "tap to change"
but if you have selected English (or other) keyboard, not Norwegian... select right one in settings - keyboard...
not quite what i was looking for

thx for a quick reply, but I think you have misunderstood my question.
How do I remove only a single word from the preset autocorrect, the one the phone is delivered with.

after flashing again and againg with gapps and without gapps, I get this conclusion:
1. when the system language is Hebrew, and somone calles you, the user can not answer the phone (if it is ON), since the answer \ decline button displayed only blank . (Only whit square appeared, no caller name or answer decline button)
2. After changing system language to english the user can answer the phone (the button appeared as expected + caller name)
please can you fix this problem that user with RTL language can use this ROM with native language
