[Q] [L7] From V20D back to V10K - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey everyone!
Since flashing Cyanogen from V20D results in having no signal, I tried to go back to the V10K Firmware from which it should work. How ever, everytime I try to flash it (Doesnt matter if emergency or diag) KDZ crashes.
The last time I tried to flash using CWM it resulted in a bootloop.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Greetings

Is your CWM working? If yes, go to mounts and storage > format /system, back, and then "wipe data/factory reset", then "wipe cache partition", then Advanced > "wipe dalvik cache". Pull the battery, hold Volume +, plug USB. In the emergency mode, flash last V20D or V10K with KDZ (update your MSXML binaries and run the KDZ in C:\ to avoid errors) When finished, plug the battery again, turn on.
Sorry for my TERRIBLE english, i'm Brazilian.

I installed Cyanogen mod on a p705g, but it was originally meant for p700
So I had a cyanogen screen that just looped over and over
I have clockworkmod recovery and I can access the recovery screen
So I formatted everything and wiped out everything
When I boot up, the only thing that appears is the lg logo
So I booted back to cwm
I don't know what to do.
Help.
I have a phone that has nothing.
It's just showing the lg logo with cwm recovery installed in the background.
Or rather, can someone give me a backup for cwm
Did you try emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power button)
If not, see if you can enter it and then flash your stock firmware with Software update [KDZ] 1.0.4.4 (KDZ-Flasher).

I have cwm
I installed slimbean and it says my phone model is a p700 now.
How do I flip it back
KDZ won't recognize it and the lg mobile support tool doesn't support p700

What do you mean that Software update [KDZ] (KDZ-Flasher) won't recognize it? It gives you "no phone found"?
And why do you think that LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL is not supported by your p700?
Yeah it gives me no phone found.
Also, I believe that p700 isn't canadian, hence, b2appsetup isn't recognizing it.

I don't believe they have a different version for different regions. It's the same utility, though the utility itself gives you the right firmware, according to your region.
Anyway, did you try emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power button)
If not, enter emergency mode, and then try reflashing your stock ROM.
If you did try emergency mode and it didn't work, try performing "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe Dalvik Cache" within CWM, and try to boot again.
If that won't work, try mounting your phone via CWM, and then try to copy your preferred ROM files to be flashed within CWM.

LG G2 d802 brick question

Through TWRP recovery I wiped all the data that could be wiped and now I entered the boot loop.
1. Does that mean that no OS files are present on phone?
2. I would like to flash stock ROM back so what would you suggest as the fastest way?
3. And next time I want to erase phone data I should rather use factory reset than recovery wipe?
And yeah I forgot to mention that I'm able to enter both recovery and download mode!
It depend's what you wiped. All means factory reset + data, cache, dalvik, system, media ? Then it's fresh.
Just download the kdz 2014 flash tool, your kdz and flash it through download mode.
Or, usb stick over usb otg(with a rom on it..and flash it..)
Or, "adb push rom.zip /sdcard/rom.zip" and flash it..
Wiping the phone via recovery prior to reverting to stock was unnecessary. You'll need to enter Download mode and flash the corresponding *.tot or *.kdz in order to return the phone to stock.

Sorry for the late response but in the meantime I did flash stock version 20a through otg, but that version has knock on bugged. So I tried to flash stock 20d which was before(OTA) but I wasn't able cuz of root/recovery. Then I tried through lgflashtool2014 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476) with a complete (CSE) wipe and guess what it threw an error on 4% and now I'm stuck without both recovery and download mode ...

I got stuck in recovery mode, how to reboot to sytem?

Hey, I have an lg g2 and when I was updating it to cyanogen mod 13.0 marshmallow from cloudy g3 kitkat rom. It got stuck after intalling D802 patch file and now I am not able to wipe the data. When I select wipe option in the recovery mode and select options(dalvik cache, data, cache, system) and try to wipe, it show a message that "invalid options are selected" and wipe doesn't happen. After that I tried to restart my phone but the fastboot mode starts automatically and now I got stuck here...
Please help!!!!
Please reply fast...

When you're at "factory reset" just press yes until TWRP appears. It will not reset the phone.

You have to enter twrp in hard mode to make a factory reset in twrp and not in settings. Do the following:
- Power off
- Press Vol down + Power. When you see LG logo, release power and press and hold it again
- You will see a white screen. Reply Yes twice (it will ask twice)
- it should boot to twrp again
- in twrp go to wipe and swipe slider to make a factory reset
- reboot system
If it still doesn't reboot to system, make everything I said above and reflash rom. But if you didn't mess with system it should reboot ok without reflashing.

Making a factory reset in android settings also make a TWRP loop. What I said above is the way to solve that loop. Now, if you don't any ROM installed, you need to do it. Even without anything installed you can connect your G6 to PC and copy a ROM to be flashed with TWRP.
I've done this several times, not only with G6 but with other phones also. Just boot to TWRP, connect to a PC and use Android File Transfer to copy a ROM to SD or Internal storage. Flash it and reboot.
yes. i try it. twrp loop again. my internal patrition is empty.
i clear cache, flash rom (fulmics, stock, etc) and reboot to system- twrp loop. always.

Did you enter TWRP using the hard method I said above? If you don't, it will not work. Also, make sure you have decrypted data partition
Did you ever had anything else other than stock rom installed and running? If not, and you to run Fulmics you need to format DATA with the format option (not the wipe one) to decrypt it, then install bootloader for V10T and Fulmics 1.5 (this is explained in Fulmics thread).
Anyway, I can assure you that if you proceed as I said on my first reply, and install Fulmics it will boot properly, it's just the way you enter TWRP that it will make a difference, if you don't use the hard method you will not exit the twrp loop.
