Hello everyone,
I've been having problems with my tmobile wing... (unlocked, with firmware came from t-mobile)
When I have no sim card inserted, the device boots up perfectly with 100% battery life.
However, with the sim card inserted, the wing keeps rebooting, and when it finally boots up, it complains about battery being low and shut down. I tried plugging it in while starting it up, and it shows 1% battery life. Removing the sim card brings the battery life back up to 100%
tried the same sim card in my nokia 5800 and no problems at all =\ so I wouldn't assume it to be a sim card problem....
That weird as crap there...but not unheard of. My Wizard did something similiar, and I found that hard reseting fixed my problem, that or just flashing a new ROM.
I powered off my phone in order to charge it and after an hour, while it was being charged, I pushd the power button to start the phone. To my surprise, I saw the SIM locked message, asking me for unlock PIN. I was lucky to have saved my PUK code and unlocked my SIM but why did this happen?
Where was your phone exactly while it was charging? Could anyone have tried to access your phone? Suspicious GF/BF, Parents, Brother/Sister?
It should not block your SIM just by charging with it off.

Only suspicious son but he denied it as he was upstairs studying
I am just investigating the possibility that this happened due to problem.
Hello,
My S4 won't turn on after the sim tray swap. My Sim tray wasn't reading my SIM card, so I swapped it for a new one that I bought off of ebay, but it is not working. Not sure what is going on, but it will not turn on.
When i plug it it in, it has an empty battery, but the progress bar is not spinning.
HELP!

Hi.
This is a friend's stock P8 Lite ALE-L21.
He asked me to look at it because it had stopped recognicing the SIM card. He had taken it to a repair shop, and they told him the battery was bad, and replaced it. But after opening... i'm not sure they replaced it, it looks "too stock".
In any case, that didnt solve the problem.
I took the phone apart, cleaned everything with small brushes and contactt cleaner, and inserted my phone's SIM card because he was using his on another phone for the moment. IT WORKED! I could make a call from it and connect to the LTE network.
So i remove the SIM card and give the phone to him. Next day he says that he's put his card on the phone and it wont take it. I take the phone again, try with mine, and no luck.
I have taken it apart again and checked with a multi-meter that every pin on the SIM card tray has a connection with the mainboard, and that all pins are positioned well. I dont think the slot is the problem.
A weird thing happens, also. The phone sommetimes reports 0% battery when you turn it on, even if you just charged it. Just now, it was at 50% battery, i rebooted it, and it reported "battery depleted, the phone will turn off in 30 seoconds". And then i booted again and it reported 12%.
Are this symptoms familiar to someone? Is the board toasted?
(...Then charges)
Hello.
It has been happening for over a month now. As soon as my battery reaches 20% , it goes down to zero in less than 10 sec. AI usually put my phone to charge at 20% but it doesnt help. Even if I plug it in , the battery still goes 17...16...15...14 ..13....12...11...10...9......0 and then charges .
Whats the problem? What should I do? Also my sim card tray is stuck and the sim card is displaced. Has it something to do with this matter? I have tried asking around the servive centre (not samsung) they say they will have to remove the back cover to remove the sim card and the tray. Will doing so affect my phones quality in anyway? Will it improve the battery problem?
Looking forward to your prompt reply.
I am seriously in a fix
Thanks ~
