[Q] How to Tweak/Change notification panel toggles ??? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone help on How to Tweak/Change notification panel toggles ???
And Use a note2 keyboard like ??(numbers above letters without having to shift )
Running stock 4.2.2 on franco kernel
Thx

You need custom rom like AOKP and such to do so. As for the keyboard you probably need to download an alternative from the play store. Maybe swype has it..

You can have it with stock keyboard but letters will be a bit smaller.. Go to advance in android keyboard then custom input style and select English and desktop I believe it is..

[Q] I Want To Maximize The Usage Of My Screen

I just want a clean stock rom with a smaller navigation bar/soft keys so that I go to use my nexus like in expanded desktop on custom rom but still be able to use drag down notification bar.
Any suggestion guys on how am I able to do that?
Expanded desktop can be set to only hide the nav bar in some roms. I use that in SlimBean.

A stock ROM + Expanded Desktop = Not a stock ROM anymore.
Go ROM shopping, it's your only option.

Haha I gonna try PA then. Love the Halo thing
Or you could use
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=be.ppareit.hidebar&hl=en
and then install pie control if you want it, this way you can keep the stock ROM? Its a lot easier to just use a different rom though

Looking for rom

I'm looking for a rom that has a status bar at the top while pie control is active. Something like what's in the photo.
I've tried PA maybe I couldn't find the option.

Carbon, aokp, liquid.
But I'm fairly sure PA has it too.
You have to go to "Hybrid properties" swipe your finger to the right and click on interface. You will see two options, choosing the Nav. Bar option drag the blue bar all the way down to zero hit apply and enable pie.

CM 10.1 can do that.

I use CM 10.1, nova launcher, and I can have that.
Active extended desktop with CM 10.1 options (then active it with a long press on power button). Then, in Nova, make an action for double tap (or any gesture you like) that hide or show status bar.
And it rocks. You can have only navbar, only statusbar, or both, your call, very quickly.
(sorry for my bad English, feel free to help me ^^ )

[Q] [REQ] Touchwiz Tablet-UI ROM $$$

Since we have a really big screen on our Galaxy S4 its sometimes really hard to pull the statusbar down. I'm already using an app like "statusbar expander" to pull it down by pressing a softbutton. But then i switched to ParanoidAndroid and i found out that tabletUI set to 420dpi is the perfect solution for our phone! But with PA i dont have the SGS4 camera, the music player, or things like s-view, or the video app for example. I discovered that on other samsung devices it is possible to have tablet UI WITH TOUCHWIZ like on the Note2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2216311) Can somebody please make a TabletUI Touchwiz ROM for our S4 ? I would donate some money and shure others will
If you use Nova launcher you can use gestures to pull down the status bar. If I swipe down from any home screen it pulls it down. There are several gestures to choose from.

Emoji Replacement (Android to iOS)

What's up guys?
I have been out of the scene for a while (so spare me please).
On my Galaxy S6 Edge (that I had for around 2 weeks) it let me use FlipFont to switch to Emoji Pack 3 (which replaces all Android emojis with iOS ones).
Is this possible on my 6P?
It is possible without root?
Emoji Switcher by Steven Schoen in the Play Store works and has iOS 9.1 Emojis. It does require root however.
I don't know if you can without root but ive used this

Damn. Thanks guys.

The middle finger works split fingers works ! ❣
Anyone else got this working?
does emoji switcher allow IOS emojis to show up on apps like instagram? I don't have an issue with the keyboard because swype has a set of very similar emojis to IOS already, but I just got my 6p and the emojis showing up in apps like instagram and twitter are the jellybean android emojis which are super ugly. I want the IOS ones to show up like they did on my HTC M9. anyone have any tips? I am rooted if that helps
Anyone had issues losing LTE after changing Emojis?
You will still get black boxes with X's in them for the skin tone Emoji. Why Google couldn't add support for the WHOLE Unicode 8.0 is beyond me.
I am currently working on a project that will allow users to change their emojis. It will change emojis system wide and will not require root.
Hey in the meantime you could try Textra with their in app solution? It'll let you use and see iOS emojis in their messenging app. (Replaces your text messenging app)

This is the best one I've found yet it works great. It's a modified Google keyboard with IOS emoji.
This will help you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/mod-switchemoji-t3357495
You won't need to flash your device to use this.
This is by far the easiest. Also works flawlessly https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stevenschoen.emojiswitcher
