Led notifications.

Just wondering if anybody is having issues with gingerbread not showing led notifications on rooted gingerbread.

If you're talking about the led on top of the phone no I haven't. I'm using gosms and Gmail and I haven't had any problems. What is happening with yours?

Use light flow from the market. Works perfectly.

No Leds
None here either using lightflow app free in the market seems to do the trick quite nicely.

Led Notifications with Whatsapp

I tried a few colours and I never get any notification light for whatsapp messages. Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah its LG being lazy and not opening up the LED to 3rd party apps.

Doesn't work on my int version and I've done a reset. Still nothing, only works on stock lg apps.

Doesn't work for me only with stock apps. Only thing I hate about this phone and well annoying. Hard reset didn't fix the problem nor do any led apps

Using Whatsapp to configure the LED settings or using something like Lightflow? I had an issue with my Lightflow preferences which I solved by keeping the Notification Light toggle on but disabling all of the specific notifications LG set. It almost seems like a conflict between Whatsapp (or other app) and the stock LG Notification Light settings.

Well not bothered about an app controlling the lights just want whatsapp Facebook and twitter to use the led. They won't work regardless what I do. Its really odd.

Same as mine but there is an update D80210C available via pc but i couldn't update it cause i have a slow connection and the update interrupted.
Do you think we will get it via ota?
Maybe i am asking too much but this is my first lg phone and i don't know the strategy

Yeah its really annoying me. I have no idea what to do as a factory reset doesn't fix the problem and all settings are correct.

I have another more annoying problem. WhatsApp isn't pushing notifications. I do not get any notification till I manually open the app. Gonna try reinstalling.

Hi guys,
For those who want to use led notification, here are what you should do:
1. Make sure your WA is the most updated
2. Go to WA->Setting->Notifications->Light
3. Choose your desire light color, only red, green, and blue color you can chose cause that the colors supported by G2

What gesture input device did you select? I tried for quite a while today and yesterday and can't get pie control working. What were your other settings?

Change width to 50. No gesture inputs.

Where can I get the apk? I wiped my TiBu folder completely when I came to this phone to start fresh. Didn't even think of saving the LMT.apk for pie controls

Edit: extracted it from beans 19. The old rom I was on. Installed it as a system app. Rebooted. Enabled it in accessibility. How do I open it to set it up? I can't find it anywhere to run.
Edit:got it. Was using wrong apk. Works perfectly now

The gesture input device is set automatically, what is yours set to? It is under the settings tab.

I set mine to unknown device since it was none on the list. But don't know if you need to. Works great. No issues. Just what I wanted.

[Q] screen timeout issue

hello, i just post my experience. sometime my screen timeout not working. I set 30 second, but after that the screen not turning off. anyone have same problem ? thanks in advance.

yep, after reboot it working fine. but sometime it happen again. I already try turn off smart screen and it still happen. i don't know this is bug or my hardware problem. I'm using stock rom d80210e btw.

I have same problem on G2, KK 80220B
I confirm that no application i running in background.

i'm having this same problem, did anyone find a solution?

Eye icon showing with nothing on?

I have the eye icon showing but yet nothing is set on as an option that uses that icon. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?
