[Q] S4 HDR Showed in youtube Samples?? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, i recently (obviously) purchased the i9505 model. I assumed S4 hasn't HDR video mode, but browsing in youtube i found some video samples with "supposedly" that feature turned on. Below the samples. So the question is ¿is finally there a HDR video mode for S4 or only for i9500 (since i9500 is the only one with Exmor RS sensor)? Anyone can confirm?
Thanks in advance!

Yep but that mode is only for photo shoots, because if i select "Rich tone" and record a video, the difference with a normal video is none...

Its a nexus camera feature. But there you can install the s4 google edition camera which has the fully functional 360 (photosphere) feature. Have search for the app,its on the themes and apps forum section somewhere.

thank you, I know all this.
what I meant (and the OP), is that Samsung presented a device with a camera mode called 360, that is not present on any existing ROM...
as a P.S. - I am not a real fan of Google Camera, I find it quite limited sometimes....

sorry, stupid me... I forgot a circle has 360 degrees.
still, it is not 'that' panorama, but this one: http://cdn.gsmarena.com/vv/reviewsimg/samsung-i9505-galaxy-s4/shots/thumb/gsmarena_040.jpg
(look at the one called 360)
like mentioned before, it is the same as photosphere...

Had a look on google and could only find this related post with someone enquiring about the feature. It looks like it may have been initially included but removed. Possibly because Google wanted to keep it as a 'nexus' only exclusive feature??

Rear camera video quality

As all the reviews say, the video capture is the only thing that lets this phone down. Is there anything that can be done to improve this? Maybe camera mods? or is this a hardware limitation?

I know, but it still looks like crap. Colour and detail is poor. Must be down to the encoding and bitrate.

totally agree, color reproduction is worse, sometimes some areas of the video look grainy.
hope honor fixes it with an update.

A software update will solve the issue

[MOD][GOOGLE CAMERA] The best Gcam for tulip i ever tested.

if you're looking for a tutorial then this is not the thread you want to be. i will just share the apk here.
so i've been desperately looking for a perfect google camera which does not lag, crash or any green tinted pictures. then i found this amazing version which works very fine. You can use all the latest features without facing any major problem. It was mainly created for MI A1 but works fine on tulip.
BUGS AND FIXESno major bugs. Just dont tap on the Camera setting menu. I dont know why it happened for me if i try to get in the gcam setting the pictures get blueish. So if you face the same problem just clear app data and dont ever try to get in the setting menu until the next fixed version arrives.
Download 'MGC_6.2.030_MiA1_Edition_1.6.6_DotFix_Wyroczen_TEST'

ill be checking if any new version of this camera arrives and be posting the links here
this is my first post on tulip forum. please press thanks button if you feel helped.
