Look towards the top. This happens when opening facebook app for first time and there is a black screen for a moment.
I have a pure black wallpaper, which I think makes it more likely to occur

he is actually referring to the bottom if you look carefully with teh gradient, youll see a bunch of blueish tinted lines and stripes rather than a smooth coloring
OP its common on samoled screens, cm has a antibanding "fix" in order to help combat this

Interesting, I would much rather have this color of phone than the other one, however I dont mind that color either.
Not the best quality but it seems darker.

Black crush ? I assume you are talking about blotches and such. This is an artifact of amoled screens known to us nerds as "mura", and is present on all Galaxy phones.

Omg, don't you know how to use Google?
So obviously you're rooted, just flash Paranoid Android, and set nav bar to transparent.
Easy.

You don't have to have an attitude. The reason why I asked is so I don't have to flash into a new ROM!

To be honest the title would lead someone to think you actually have a problem, not a question about the UI...
To answer the question, though, you'll need to mod the system files to have a transparent navi/status bar. Easier to change ROM to PA

So PA allows me to change the navi bars even when its in tablet ui to transparent?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
I believe so but I've not used it in a while. There is a thread to ask questions to do with PA so maybe ask in there for confirmation?
If you have some colors you would like to see in your Note 3 please let me know in this thread. Keep in mind you have to be able to see your phone outside, so silver, white, colors like that are no good, and I wont make it if you can't see it outdoors
.
Get your thoughts in now, I'm ready to go. Two color maximum
How about an XDA color theme?
be more specific

OK black orange wins, I still don't know what color kit kat is. I do know it isn't two specific colors though :silly:
I'm a fan of themes that utilize original images instead of just recolor stock images, if that makes sense.

What your wanting to do will not work. I will not do something that I know will not work. You have to remember that you want a black background when the letters you type will be black.
I recommend to you that you use the bubbles in the rom now.
Thanks
none

If you go under accessibility settings, there is a color adjustment setting. Turn it on and adjust the circle in the image to what you prefer. I found that I like it right above the camera icon. I feel like it also helps to slightly reduce the affect of the over sharpening. Hope this helps.
