If you go under accessibility settings, there is a color adjustment setting. Turn it on and adjust the circle in the image to what you prefer. I found that I like it right above the camera icon. I feel like it also helps to slightly reduce the affect of the over sharpening. Hope this helps.

I actually had no idea the other thread existed when I posted this. Mods can delete this if they want. I was just trying to help with one of the biggest complaints against this phone. Hope it helped anyone else who may have not known about the other thread.

I have a question, please chime in if you have any idea. When i downloaded a wallpaper from the site you guys listed. Or any other picture when i go select it as my wallpaper it gives my a landscape and portrait view thats zoomed in that i can expand appon but it wont let Me use the entire picture. Its cutes most of it out. The final resoult is zoomed in by the time its actually set as my wallpaper.. Idea guys?

no.. i've downloaded and saved from other sites before.. for some reason, it's just that site that won't let me keep them. they stay as my wallpaper, but they disappear from my gallery after a reboot.

i find that going to the gallery and selecting it from there is a better method if you have higher res images rather than from the wallpaper picker.

I'm having this same issue. I tried selecting the wallpaper as mentioned by someone else, but the same thing happened. No matter how I try, I can't use the entire image as a wallpaper.

No, only mods can do it. In this case don't worry about it...no biggie. As you can see though, there's always someone who will notice and make a comment if you double post (sometimes a regular, sometimes a mod), so it's just not worth it.
As for your original question, even if you find the messaging APKs from the MT4G stock ROM, they may not work on VU. There's big differences in the Sense framework between the two ROMs, so the apps may not be "plug and play". Good luck though.

It's not going to work, framework compatibility issues as stated by TJ.
Have you tried GoSMS Pro? Awesome app, and it's not bulky and laggy like Handcent. I use it all the time, very sleek and customizable. You can make it look like the stock messaging app if so desired.
I have had a few people ask me for the image that's in my signature. So I have decided to share it to everyone.
You can do what you want with it. I use it to display my phone info.
This is a PSD so you need photoshop to use it.

You chose the wrong place for the post, Post it in Galaxy S4 themes and apps, there people interested in themes and theming will be present and may opt to collaborate with you.

Like changing the wifi icon etc....

2) Changed list selection divider background to white (dont know how to change color of texts in settings)
