I don't think it would work. I'm pretty certain it will call some other files on the phone and fail. I tried this with a couple apps on my SGN and it failed. Maybe someone else here has had better luck.

There's an app that provides such functionality, but I can't think of its name.
Boot manager. Haven't tried it lately or even with the n7, but I've had some success with it. Give it a shothttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.drx2.bootmanager

N7 isn't in his list of supported models. Probably a very high risk of something going bonkers. Some braver soul then me can be the guinea pig.
EDIT: I have had great luck with the app on my old G2 though.
I've searched google and it keeps taking me to market enabler which is only for gsm. I'm trying to get a sprint specific app. I've tried the spring codes, don't work. Is there another way of doing this?

Yea tried that.. like I said. That's only for gsm carriers does not work for sprint. I tried several custom codes and none of them work. The app is an NBA app only available through sprint. My friend has it for his phone but wants it for his tablet

It isn't possible to side load it via Titanium Backup? Or is the tablet version different from the phone version?

Yea its possible but he wants to be able to update it when it becomes available. But till I have the time to look up the proper build.prop edit for it we may have to side load till then

Unless its an app that updates all the time side loading isn't a bad way to do it. In your case that seems like the least headache solution for now.

Hello Everyone, I just bought my Nexus 7 about a week ago. I was wondering what kind of apps programs would greatly benefit the Nexus 7. What kind of apps to you guys suggest to use? Are there any apps that you guys find vital to the nexus 7? Also I am running android 4.2.1 and the camera asp that gives me the stock camera back isn't working too efficiently (nexus 7 camera fix app from play store) I get a lot of lag from this. Anyone know why? PS I haven't rooted it yet.

People are not replying because the answer to all your questions can be found right here in the n7 forums. They have all been covered extensively, and if you searched for them, you would already be fixed up. Waiting for people to answer them for you will actually take much, much longer than just searching and reading. Not trying to be rude, but everyday, there are two more post with the exact same questions, and none of them take the time to read the other.

Hi,
First time post, I've had a search through the forums but haven't been able to find anything related, hopefully someone knows how to help though.
I turned on my Nexus 4 the other day and the date setting has somehow changed. As you can see in the screenshots, the last 2 numbers are the date and the first number seemingly just goes up by 1 each day. I've tried to change the date settings several times but nothing has changed. Is anyone else having the same problem?
My Lightflow app also stopped working at the same time, it won't open despite uninstalling and reinstalling. I would imagine these are unrelated but you never know.
Thanks in advance for any responses!

More information would be helpful. Are you rooted, have custom ROMs, custom kernel?

Ah, sorry. Nope, not rooted or anything like that. Just on standard Android 4.2.2

Looks like a software bug. Try flashing the stock images again and it should fix this problem. Try using carbon to do a backup first if you want to keep data.

I have the exact same issue - Stock JB 4.2.2 but am rooted. Happened suddenly last week - can't figure out how to revert this.
Any luck so far?
I was looking at the updates to the s4 and saw the update thinking that it was for the ee s4 with disastrous consequences. I now have the t mobile set up with my ee card. Do not have wifi just wont switch on and it has 4g in the Window where you would find the normal 3g logo. There are also a couple of issues. So my main question is where would I find the stock rom or the update to put it back to normal
