Hello Everyone, I just bought my Nexus 7 about a week ago. I was wondering what kind of apps programs would greatly benefit the Nexus 7. What kind of apps to you guys suggest to use? Are there any apps that you guys find vital to the nexus 7? Also I am running android 4.2.1 and the camera asp that gives me the stock camera back isn't working too efficiently (nexus 7 camera fix app from play store) I get a lot of lag from this. Anyone know why? PS I haven't rooted it yet.

People are not replying because the answer to all your questions can be found right here in the n7 forums. They have all been covered extensively, and if you searched for them, you would already be fixed up. Waiting for people to answer them for you will actually take much, much longer than just searching and reading. Not trying to be rude, but everyday, there are two more post with the exact same questions, and none of them take the time to read the other.

So I started asking it the same questions I normally do, but today it doesn't give me the scores. What gives? I asked it " what's the score the giants game?". I've asked it that question and had it answered dozens of times but now it won't. Anyone else having issues?

I had the same issue yesterday, where I would only get search results. But it seems to be working tonight again!
I've converted my Optimus G into a Nexus 4 and am wondering if anyone has tried to use MultiROM with their handset. Apparently it functions for the Nexus 7 with what limited knowledge I have in reading up on it. The reason I ask is because I'd ultimately like to run stock Android on some form along with Ubuntu Phone which has released is developer version to our phone recently, and this can be accomplished on the Nexus 7.
Should I even bother asking at this point I don't know, but figured its worth a shot as I love flashing roms whenever is convenient. I don't believe that Boot Manager in the play store is yet supported for the Nexus 4 at this point and if it were I doubt it would allow for ubuntu phone.

I don't have an answer for you, but how is your phone running since the conversion?

Because Optimus G is G+4, but Nexus 4 is just 4
It has ran just fine until the last month or so. Using an early cm 10.1 room with capacitive buttons and 8gb sd recognition. Lately my phone will randomly power off for no apparent reason so I will look to refresh my handset soon.
The Optimus G is considered a more reliable phone over the Nexus 4 from what I've read. It also allows for storage beyond 16gb since the att version includes that on board and allows external storage also. There is a HD ask to allow for 16gb internal recognized which I have not yet performed. No issues with my phone but rare overheating which I remedy by turning off my phone for it to cool down for a few mins at best.

Multi ROM Issue
What has actually happened is that I installed an app that flashed a new patch that is not compatible with multi rom and now my phone wont turn on! i have a backup and its stored in my sd card! Can someone help me how should I Just transfer the files from my pen drive to my phone's internal storage where i can restore my backup!
Please Help asap
I bought my nexus 4 few months back. Last week i deleted a few photos and videos think that they are not necessary. But now i actually need them. Can someone suggest how do i get them back? any file recovery software that will work with this. I tried a few which dont show the nexus in the drive list as its mtp/ptp and hence no drive letter has been assigned. If some one could help me out with this it would be really great.
Have a look at this, it's not Nexus 4 specific but hopefully it can help... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994705
Good luck!

OP, would you mind reporting on your findings? I'm curious if the above solution works for our N4's.

I don't think it would work. I'm pretty certain it will call some other files on the phone and fail. I tried this with a couple apps on my SGN and it failed. Maybe someone else here has had better luck.
I have a nexus 7 2012 WiFi only and a 2013 lte. The first gen and my HTC one model sign into my work WiFi just fine. The 2013 lte model does not want to connect through the internet login portal.
All software is unmodified and completely stock without root on all devices. Both nexus 7s are running kit Kat. The lte model has a tmobile SIM. I've also tried to remove the SIM and connect... Still no good
Any solutions? Anyone here of something like this happening ?

Since the problem is with the 2013 model, you would be better helped by posting in the correct device forum. They will be more familiar and better suited to help with your issue. For instance, if it is a known issue with that particular device, most here would most likely not know about it.
