Dont take any risk, just replace the set if its in warranty and if you cant then use some stuck pixel softwares, by the way it is stuck pixel.

Not sure. No one has complained of this yet that I've seen. A google search might yield the proper answer.

I'm not sure but I have one dead pixel... I know two dead pixels would qualify for an exchange anywhere with any company

How long have you had a dead pixel?
Sent from my awesome Vibrant using XDA App
A pixel can go out, yes.
Is it likely? No.
If you do have a dead pixel you can send it in to Samsung and they will send you a new phone (as long as you're under warranty)
I had my Nexus One for 6 months and I never saw a dead pixel.

I've rebooted and changed the background. Still there. How long does it normally take to RMA the device knowing there out of stock?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
One dead pixel won't get an RMA.
Sent from my Nexus 4
if it is near the middle he might get it..
try pressing on it with pressure
Use pixel fixer from Google play and fix it that way.

RMA for 1 dead pixel?
Hey everyone. Whenever I turn my screen on full brightness with a dark/black image showing, I can see one pixel that stays green (at least as far as I can tell it's green. It's tiny so it's hard to tell), I've ran a screen fixing app for about 8 hours on full brightness with no luck. I'd rather not RMA, so are there any other apps, or methods of fixing this issue? Thank you!

Rma. And why wouldn't you? Dead pixel is the manufacturers fault. RMA is easy all you have to do is call them. Fill out the form. New phone comes in. Take a few days to test new phone and move your content over. Send old phone back and not pay a dime. Only Google wallet puts a pending charge on your card (my bank already removed mine)

After a long wait for AT&T to ship my phone and going on amazon to order screen protector and case. It finally came in the mail today. As soon as I got it I slapped my screen protector on and went on playing with my new phone. I started watching a video on YouTube and a stuck green pixel around the middle of the phone. I Googled black imaged to make sure and even took a black picture in a dark room and yes its stuck green one.
Anyone have one of these? I'm running a pixel fixer right now Butt if this can't fix it I will have to call at&t to return it instead of getting it swapped out since they give you refurbished phones.

Are you sure? Did you try a pixel tester app?

Yeah I tried the pixel tester app and I can only see the green pixel when a black image is presented. Right now its flashing all lights and turning colors, I'm hoping this will fix the problem. I'm going to leave the app running for about 10 hours and see what happens.
Man, that just sucks what about going directly to LG instead of AT&T?

Seeing a stuck pixel at 1/421" in size is pretty impressive
Just to not look like a noob. Remove your screen protector before running a 10h stress test on a pixel. Many it's just an optical illusion from the protector... I'd not get it replaced. Messing with it might ruin your warranty

I have a stuck single stuck pixel on my Verizon variant. Surprised by some of the comments questioning its existence. I haven't done anything about it and its only visible on very dark backgrounds in my case. Good luck!

OK I've owned this phone for a year and suddenly red burn in circles are appearing on my screen. Anybody else have this issue and if not any advice as to how I can remove them? Or is it a service issue that's going to cost me a new screen?. Thanks

If you haven't rooted it, then send it in for warranty repair. If you have rooted it, you'll need to either live with it or replace the screen
It's a known issue. They show up in either red, blue, yellow, or white. Either send it in for warranty or replace the screen.
rooted since day #1

IIrc hardware defects are still covered under the warranty even with bootloader unlock. But I also have one of these dots. Towards the bottom, it's blue. Had it since opening the phone. Was going to send it in for reapir, but I couldn't figure out how to return the phone to stock.
