Flash this Pre-rooted Stock ROM via ODIN, it should fix the problem.
it will fix the wipe cache problem and the one about the video rebooting the phone?
For now i m actually trying to fix the problem about the video and dont want to root now because i will probably have to return the phone if the play video not fixed that's why i m asking...

I don't know if it will fix the problems. If you don't want to flash the pre-rooted ROM, do an update via OTA (if available) or flash a Stock ROM
i flashed about 4 or 5 times a rom stock and i still got the problem with the play video rebooting but i m sure that the "wipe cache partition" could fix it...btw thank you for your help!
that piss me off i just get it and i have to return it!

I mod my tattoo to CyanogenMod 7.0.0-RC0.7002 Gingerbread. By using 1Click root/recovery
1)Everything is fine except now YouTube have only sound but no picture displaying.
2)Screen calibration will reset if I reboot.
Thanks
------
By the way.. Just for the record.. Rom Manager is very very buggy and also clockworkmod.. I had to repeat flashing 4 times to successfully install cyanogen7. It kept hang frozen and boot loop and the gapps-mdpi-20101228b-signed.zip works while some others do not.
1)
I'm using NB 12 and YT crashes for me but I think it is my fault.
2)
This ROM has problem with saving calibration data. Kalim wrote that NB 13 may fix it but he didn't know if it really helps. We have to test it.
So... you could try to use NB13 and you will see.
If you have problem with GoogleApps try this:
http://quick-upload.com/files/get/WWI4L9tXow/gapps-gb-20110120-signed.zip
wipe all, and format your sd card
youtube and calibration works fine for me

The problem is bug because it keep error many times while flashing. Looks like installation problem
try re-flashing your rom. going back and doing things over isnt always bad you can catch mistakes.

I can confirm this. I had the same problem on a click CM7 (which really bugged my girlfriend when she was checking youtube), clicking the HQ button fixed the problem. If it doesn't work at first, click the button trice (3 times).
Hi guys. Need your help on this one. I flashed the latest omega rom and successfully restored my data. But whenever i reboot or power my phone off it can boot up past the samsung s4 logo. I would have to go back to recovery (twrp) format data. Then restore from back up then it can boot up. I would have to do it every time. I already tried reflashing the omega rom. After wipe but same thing the moment i reboot it will not het past the s4 logo. Any idea on this one. I really need help

I have an encrypted n4 that I upgraded to lollipop.
Eveything went well but i cant get past the boot screen.
The dots just keep spinning.
I dont want to do factory reset. Have too much data that I dont want to lose.
Has anyone had any luck with resolving this issue other than doing a factory reset?
The first boot could take up to 6-8 minutes... else try to clear the cache
I've let it run for 8 hours and still stuck on boot screen.
Even rebooted and still the same.
How do I clear cache?
On boot press and hold the volume rocker to get into the bootloader. Then use the volume rocker and power button to select recovery, and wipe the cache with the stock recovery using the volume rocker and power button also. There should be video tutorials on YouTube also

NotBillable, were you able to solve this issue? I'm having the exact same problem, stuck on the spinning dots after upgrading to lollipop. I cleared the cache, it's been a few hours Anyone else have any other ideas (besides a factory reset)?

It should only take 10 minutes or so. You wiped /cache and it still did not work? A Factory Reset will probably fix your issue. Hope you made a Nandroid

I tried everything and nothing works except Android 4.4.4... I relocked bootloader, formatted everything, even erased all partitions, flashed via Factory Image, via OTA zip, via flashable zip... It used to work the first time I flashed Lollipop but the second time I ended up with the spinning dots for hours...
Maybe we should make a sticky thread for everyone having the same problem.

yep, did wipe cache and it did not work. Had to factory reset. Didn't lose anything too important (e.g. photos and contacts backed up in the cloud), lesson learned though: back stuff up, esp. before before touching and upgrading the OS. Also used this as a chance to flash cyanogenmod
Solved it without a format! I had the same issue with my Nexus 5. I manually sideloaded the OTA zip via adb in Recovery mode and it rebooted ok. Hopefully that helps you guys too.

Nice! Did you already have debug mode enabled to be able to use adb? Or am I missing something here (I'm a noob )

No, all you need to do is connect the phone to the computer, get into Recovery at startup, select to install a zip file. At this pount you need to run adb sideload from command and it should take care of itself. You have to rename the file to update.zip. For this to work you do need the right drivers. Let me know if you need further help.
Stucked on boot screen
If anyone helps.
I tried to install directly the 5.01 update from 4.4.2 on my Nexus 7 and was stucked on boot screen.
After several attempts I installed lollypop 5.0 and worked fine.
I'll try to install now the update from 5.0 and will tell you later if that works.
Cheers
so..
i have a g900f to resoft it.
i downloaded odin 3.12 and the latest android 5(yeah, 5, because the owner doesn't like the 6th android)
1)i started odin
2) i selected the software in AP
3)i turned off the samsung, started it in downloade mode(i forgot to activate usb debugging)
4)i connected it to pc
5)i presed START and waited
Odin finished it's proces, but the phone didn't go over "samsung"(when i turn it on). I asked a friend, and he told me that i can't flash an old android, if i installed android 6 Over The Air(yeah..the owner's phone updated it OTA)
OK...I downloaded the latesc android version, repeat the same proces, but now..the phone stucked again at "samsung" step when it was restarting. i reflashed the same version...and it worked. The phone starded to instal 270 files. i was happy, but..i picked up the phone, and the battery feld down when it was installing those 270 files. i put the battery back, turn it on, but it stucked on "samsung". i tried to reflash the same version, but it keeps to stuck in "samsung" step.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW!!!

Turn on into download (opposite vol button from recovery)
Open odin
put device in, get port blue
make sure odin is set up properly
flash again

if you wanna answer, i have some quiestions:
1)after the next update OTA, phone's owner will make it(because she is noob..she doesn's listen to me to update it with pc), if the phone will have problems again, can i only wipe cache => wipe data/factory reset=> restart now to make it like new, from factory, or i have to flash the latest firmware with odin?
2) she will instal a lot of trash on it, and it will have lag and won't work properly.... can i wipe cache=> wipe data/factory reset => restart now to make it like new? (in this case, the phone is on the actual firmware, no updates)
