i know about that ROM but my phone is the one with 8MXP camera so if I flash my phone with that rom my camera wont work
Have you got P700/P705? If you install JB v20a+root then camera should be work.
There is the slightly difficult method of extracting the system.img.ext4 and using linux to insert the files for root and flashing it back for advanced users. That way every application should work

If you flash via ODIN it will preserve your settings/apps.

You will have to wipe anyway. Currently there's no way to go from stock ICS to the leaked stock JBs. I recommend you stay on lfb, it's a solid firmware. JB still has some compatibility and performance issues.
If you want to try it out anyway, root your phone with cf-root. Backup your current rom, format away and then flash the LI2 odin leak. In any case you can go back to your stock config.
Can I backup my rom + Apps and everything at once? With what tool? I have rom manager premium.

I've got a brazilian LG-P705f device and i'm wondering if I could install any P700 ROM on it (or any L7 ROM).
I intend to install Slim Bean 4.1.2 on it, but I'm not sure about compatibility. And I can not post on development Threads.
Thanks for your advice.

Yes you can.
Don't forget to remove nfc.apk from system (with correct permissions) in order not to have battery drain..

i have a lg l7 p705 4.1.2 and cant find a way of rooting it. so i am thinking of downgrading it back to 4.0.3, if possible. i am new to this thing and has never rooted a device. would appreciate if you can suggest me a way in a simpler language cause i did saw somethings for what i was looking for but couldnt understand what they were trying to tell
hi man ^^ go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2423376&highlight=downgrade
then click on the link and download the v10k rom (v10k is 4.0.3) and simply flash it using kdz flasher
after the installation you will have 4.0.3 with root and cwm recovery
but remember this: if,after the installation, the phone doesn't boot remove battery then put in the battery and enter in recovery mode, now wipe data and wipe cache and reboot your phone
is really simple
seriosly...you made very simple thanx a lot...one more thing..what does flashing mean and how do i enter recobery mode...it would be really helpful of u
Sent from my LG-P705 using xda app-developers app
for flashing i mean istalling rom using kdz program and to enter recovery mode u have to shutdown the phone and keep pressed vol+,vol-,home,and power button then when u see your phone vibrates release power button but keep pressed all the other buttons until u see the recovery

Hello Guys, I heard about LG to update the camera apk to 4.3.1 and fix about every problem the camera had.
Some of you received this update?
And if so, where can we find an apk of it?
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
Take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548974.
Only the Korean versions received this update if I remember right.

Stock 4.3.1 camera app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525783.
Hey, I'm trying to install these apks but it fails to install... Do I have no choice but to root and flash them? Can't I just install the apks?

I've just got my phone today. I know about the camera issue but I have the original 4.3.1 camera apks/zip file. I tried installing apk but failed... Is there no way to install it? I don't want to root just yet...

You could use adb to push the files , altrough you would have to "semi root"

Ok I'm going to root but not install custom recovery.. I know you can move the files into system folder using root explorer but where do I move all of the files (apks, libs etc)??
Sent from my LG-D802 using xda app-developers app
Would like to no the same?
Sent from my LG-D800 using xda app-developers app
You push apk's into system/app and libs into system/lib but you have to find a way to clear dalvik cache and cache so that when you reboot android system will read all apps and create. dex files for them to work and without custom recovery I don't know if any other app would do without any problems.

Actually if you only root your phone and don't change anything(that includes not installing custom recovery) you can take the or a but if you are already rooted and on the international you can try this- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2665985

Well it's pretty simple to get recovery you can download freegee then just install one of choice and then place rom in sd card reboot to recovery and and flash just follow the steps
