stock 4.0.1????? you mean 4.0.4....and yes you can ...flash the last jelly bean leak "XXDLI2" Odin...
Thanks for thé prompt reply.
If I flash it with this leak.. Will I lose my data.. Apps.. Msgs etc...
Will this UPDATE fix the jamming? The présent version jams on many occasions
Thanks pros

If you flash via ODIN it will preserve your settings/apps.

You will have to wipe anyway. Currently there's no way to go from stock ICS to the leaked stock JBs. I recommend you stay on lfb, it's a solid firmware. JB still has some compatibility and performance issues.
If you want to try it out anyway, root your phone with cf-root. Backup your current rom, format away and then flash the LI2 odin leak. In any case you can go back to your stock config.
Can I backup my rom + Apps and everything at once? With what tool? I have rom manager premium.

Sorry, I am new and maybe this is a silly question. Can I flash a new rom without loosing my apps and their settings and my games and their saves ? Like backing-up all these.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
If you are rooted use titanium backup from market, but the fact you asked this indicated you need to study more before you start flashing roms
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
hahaha. Thank you very much for your quick answer ! Maybe you are right. The fact is that I already flashed my phone 2-3 times but never interested in backing-up. On the other hand now, I have spent a lot of time with it and I do not want to loose my apps. Is there something specific I should do with titanium back-up ? or I just back-up with this app and then, after I flash, I restore ? ( sorry haven' t used it before )
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Yeah you just backup before flashing, restore after. Bear in mind I don't think it is compatible between cm7/miui and samsung - based roms.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
Well restoring app data can cause problems, but that is depending on what rom you are flashing to and from, and like any app you need to learn to use it I recommend paid version as it allows you to batch restore and backup

You may have problems with app data but I'm really not sure, you will know if you do because you will get a lot of fc of apps

thank you slaphead20 and jaju123 very much ! I will try to save anything I can with titanium. flashing is much more important for me.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Some games store their save files on the SD card (data or similar). So if you flash a new ROM, all you need to do is reinstall the game and you can start where you left.
Thank you !
ive never had any problems backing up and restoriing ONLY user downloaded apps between cm7, stock and miui using titanium. the only thing which would cause you problems would be restoring system apps..
if you wish to backup messages also and use them with other firmwares u could also use GoSMS, which has a backup function

Yes when in doubt all you need to do is flash the stock rom via Odin of cause if you want to keep root you might want to use mobile odin pro

As long as you are flashing a good image and you don't unplug the cable in the middle of it or loose power to your computer.
So using a stock image from samfirmwares would be fine then

indeed they should come in the form of a .md5 file anyway so it will check that it is not corrupt before flashing. You may find that when you reboot the note you get force closes etc just boot into recovery and wipe cache/data to fix this
Thanks a lot buddy really appreciated

Because I use Touch recovery..it will not work on the other recoveries...
flash the recovery via Odin and Flash the ROM..
then you can flash back the other recovery on the top of it to have your backups..
[Edit] try it on your current recovery once..I think it will work as it uses Edify scripts..do let me know so that I can edit the OP

Runs quite well, but I have to admit I can't see a great difference (project butter?).
The battery performances seem to be excellent, and (even if it looks strange to me) I see also better wifi signal.
You have to get used to the phablet UI: in the beginning it was shocking and I was seriously thinking of going back to Ics, but the more you try it and the more you like it.

Must a full wipe require before flashing this new firmware? From what you've mentioned, this update can use on regions like Asia? I'm from Singapore btw.

Hey all,
Many of you have problems when installing various flavors of Android 4.1+. This is the solution to you tablet being stuck at a black screen after installing an Jelly Bean ROM. The solution is actually quite simple: Your recovery version is obsolete (old). In order to get JellyBean working (unless there is some other problem) is to use this recovery for the GT-7310
http://www.mediafire.com/?b2pbv065k51zqy6
Flash it in your current cwm
I'll find a 7300 version in a while.....

I had no problems flashing CM10 with 5.5.0.4, so it can't be true for all. But it might well work for some roms.

That's not good - have you rebooted yet? If you haven't, flash a known good one. If you have, wait for someone more knowledgeable than me, but I'd suspect you've bricked it and will need to send it to Samsung.
