Questions about root and CWM for T-Mobile Galaxy S4 - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I found a root for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4, but some people are saying their data speed dropped after rooting. Is there a root method that does not cause the data speed to drop?
Also, is there a solid CWM recovery for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4? I've looked around, but so far nothing seems very solid at this stage.
I noted there is no T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 forum in XDA as of yet; I appreciate your time and help.

[Q] Does Link2SD work on the Note 3 with SafeRoot?

Hey all,
So I'm coming from a Galaxy S3 to a Note 3 that I've acquired (both VZW). On my S3 I had to use Saferoot in order to have a rooted ROM installed, and from a quick sniffing through the Note3 forums it appears I'll have to do the same for the Note3(?); I had problems trying to use Link2SD on my S3, I assume due to Saferoot (I've asked in the forums here, as well as a couple emails right to the L2SD dev, who never responds), so my question is, does L2SD actually work on the Note3 or will I be stuck in the same situation?
Thanks!

Any root solution for S5 g500a?

They are saying S7 can now be rooted, even though it's still unstable...do we still not have a solution for S5 from Att? I cant wait...my S5 is perfect for me and would be even better if rooted! FYI Ive upgraded to marshmallow.

New to S7 Root Question

Just upgraded from the Sprint Galaxy S5 to the Sprint Galaxy S7 Edge. Love having root on my phone's so of course I want to root my S7. I've read through a few pages I've found on rooting but my question is, what is the easiest and safest method? I'm running PK1.

Switching from Note 4 to S7 (non edge)

Hello community
I dabbled a bit into the Samsung Galaxy s7 xda section and didnt see any development going on there so I came to this one. Is it safe to assume that any development or roms from this section will work with a Tmobile S7 (Non Edge) device?
I have bad news for you. I make the same jump, from the note 4 to the S7E. The usa variants of the S7E all have locked bootloaders. So there is not root like the note 4 had. No twrp... The only root method is using a leaked engineer boot kernel. It's far from perfect, but it does give root access. Results vary GREATLY in the eng root camp. See my signature for the link.
To my knowledge there is only 1 rom, you flash with flash fire which is an app you flash on device.
The biggest upgrade from the note 4 is camera. The S7E camera is like magic compared to the note 4. Especially in low light conditions.
I hope that helps. The S7E is a nice phone, but root, like the note 4 (tmobile), simply does not exist.
Sent from my Rooted Galaxy S7 EDGE on Android 7.0 Nougat, here's the instructions how to do it!
