On my Note 2, when using the stock browser, once a page is fully loaded and you scroll down, the address bar scrolls off the screen and doesn't take up screen estate.
Does anyone know how to achieve this on S4 stock browser? I hate having the status bar and the address bar beign persistent in landscape mode cos 1/3 of the screen is wasted.
Also the Note 2 stock browser has a "Labs" setting with fullscreen and quick-controls, anybody know how to get these on the S4?

Is this gone? Seems like a major regression in comparison to the S3's stock browser.
It is indeed And the synchro with Chrome PC bookmarks is gone too. Hope it will get fixed by Samsung itself in a next update or by a dev.
I agree. I couldn't believe it
¡¡So say we all!! from my GT-I9505
is there any way to hide the address bar and get a proper fullscreen mode?
Hi,
I remember i could go full screen (hide the address bar) with S3 but it dont see any option to do so in S4 browser.
Any one know if its hidden somewhere or samsung removed it?
I really like the air gesture so would like to stick to samsung browser but its annoying to have the bar eating up the space....

Also there were another feature on S3 i'm missing, when i had scrolled down allot i could tab the top of the phone to jump back on top. Is this removed as well?
I *think* the address bar on the stock browser of my i9505 used to scroll off the top of the screen or "autohide".
Now it just seems stuck there, and it's very annoying. My old S2 definitely used to autohide.
I've checked the box in the browser accessibility settings for 'full screen' but it makes no difference at all.
Does anyone know how to fix this, or is it just the way it is. Phone is unmodified on Three in the UK.
thanks
Hey I had the s3 before and I had a option in settings to get full screen browser with pie controls and I can't find out how to do it on the note 3 is there a way to do so ? Because a full screen browser would make this phone so much better

You can use the AOSP version of the stock browser, in full screen it removes everything and then you can use the quick controls to swipe in from the side of the screen.

Video in that thread shows off what I'm talking about in the later portions.
If you are rooted to can try out this app from the market:

You could try an aftermarket browser too. I have used Dolphin for years and love it. It does fullscreen and you can change User Agent too. No more getting stuck in mobile versions of websites.
I know most people prefer fullscreen browsing. However, I personally find it annoying that i have to swipe down to show the url bar every time I want to switch tabs in chrome. Is it possible to set the url bar to always visible? I checked chrome://flags but didnt find anything, is there any way to do this
