Does sg4 has the fuction like htc one has where it turns off cpu when the screnen is off in energy preserving mode? I returned htc one but i found that fuction to be useful to save battery. Any app that can do that??

Is there a way to get our EVO car mode screen to look like the thunderbolt?? My buddy has one and the evo car mode screen looks like garbage compared to his. Thanks guys.

that's probably a sense 2.0 feature in which case yes you could make your phone look like that by flashing one if the Desire Z ports, like Warm Z for example. you will lose 4g thkugh, which for me is a good thing. the 4g radio turns on by itself all the time and is a battery hog. Give it a try if the car panel is more important then 4g to you.

Have you tried to remove the battery and replace it again? Maybe it got an loose contact.
How does the power button feel? I heard that it could break sometimes.
Is your phone rooted?
Some more information would be appriciated to get further help.
All the buttons feel normal the phone was rooted but no custom Rom the phone has a silicon cover on it and was haveing the WiFi problem and volume controls worked one week them not.for.weeks after then.back on very strange I have taken the battery out and in all conecter look fine wish stayed with my hd2

If it wont come back on after taking battery on and replacing it, it looks like a return it to HTC job to me
I'm wondering if there is some kind of mod or app or something that allows you to turn on the screen by touch. With the case I'm using the power button is quite hard to trigger.

This is available for the Galaxy Nexus. I use it and find it quite useful. As far as I know, there isn't a solution for the Nexus 7, yet.

Awesome on/off ultimate works on the N7, you just tilt slightly to wake, since the GNex solution requires a module to be added to the kernel.
(both will use battery, the app I mentioned states 5% per day)

When ever my screen times out and turns off, and it turns right back on and it keeps doing this. I don't know what happened to my phone to make it cause this. Is there anything I can do to fix it at all

Is this on a particular ROM or on all ROMs? Perhaps your power button or trackpad are going bad?

Actually its on CM9 Mimicry all the sense 3.5 and mokee os. The only Rom it doesn't do it on is glacier 3.6 v 1.3

Mine is doing this as well. I've tried different ROMs and even bought a new battery. I cant get the screen to stay off. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I've had this happen when specific apps are running that want to keep it awake, like stopwatch apps, clocks, etc. Maybe it's app-specific?
I have a problem: I cannot slide to unlock the phone when the battery is very low. I have to swipe the widgets page on the lock screen to open an app and then click the back button to get to the main pages. Why is this?
Your battery is low and power saving has kicked in. Recharge the battery.

Can I turn off this power saving feature so I can still use my phone when it's at like 5%? Seems silly I can't actually use the phone other than its widgets until the full duration of the battery is used.
