I woke up this'd morning and my phone claimed the storage was ejected. I checked it was still there, I rebooted and was in safe mode (no downloaded apps visible). Phone is stock except I rooted last night. Storage card is new PNY 32 gb class 10 bought yesterday. I barely put music on it before bed. Registered on pc but not S4 or my Note 2. About to check again.
Anyone have this problem?

I have experienced the same issue with my 64gb sdcard. When it happens, I simply go to Settings->storage and remount the sdcard. I think its a bug in the current, stock ROM.

I've used different PNY flash drives and never had an issue, but I've confirmed that this one was the culprit by replicating the issue after restoring a backup and trying to mount it again. It actually does mount, but after unmounting my battery shows it's charging while not being connected to anything and I can no longer mount any flash drives at all. Restoring a backup resolves it, but I couldn't figure out any other way to fix it without a backup.
If anyone knows anything more specific about this bug, then it'd be nice to hear from you. If not, then that's my experience with those PNY fds on Tmo M919 (currently unlocked on Cricket [AIO/At&t] running The Sickness Edition v3 TW rom.
I just installed Cyanogenmod 12 the other day, runs fantastically on my L720
I noticed my total storage space was lower than normal... (16GB model.)
Ran Terminal "df" command to view partition info and saw this:
Looks like I have duplicate partitions?

This is what my storage available looks like in settings:
Is there a way to restore my partitions to original and regain my storage space?
Your storage looks normal to me.
Shouldn't total space be closer to 16GB?

After the OS installs that's about all you get.
Put an SD card in there.
Thanks guys. Already using a 32GB as card.

Whenever I turned on my phone now it goes into this recovery mode.
Attached is a picture of what its showing me.
How do I fix this issue?
I can't load anything into the phone from the PC either. Like putting in an update onto the internal memory however I do have a SD Card in it.
So if I need to upload an update by SD Card I should be able too. I think

Something has happened to your OS.
And no, you can't use THAT recovery to do anything to fix your situation.
You can either use a custom recovery and try a custom ROM, or you can use Odin and flash a stock ROM.
In either case you will most probably lose your data.
maybe your volume up button is stuck? check it first
What is the phone model #?
I just bought the XT1680 32GB model and flashed right away LineageOS 15.1. As soon as I installed a few apps I noticed there was a ridiculous amout of internal space for apps/photos/music/etc. I just get 3.30GB of available storage out of 32GB...
I have no idea if this the price to pay for a 64-bit rom or something like that but I really need that extra storage since my SD card is full of music.
Anyone knows if there's a solution for this? should i just go back to stock?
here are some link2sd screenshots

Have you made a clean flash?
