It always took me about 2 seconds to get auto rotation respond on my Nexus 7
Is there any way to tweak it faster?
I think it's not the laggy problem but some system settings like response time or sampling time
I've googled this but nothing's found and no apps I found can do this
thanks for answering

I honestly think this is normal.
It took about 2 seconds delay before it start rotate here too. I think it normal but honestly I want it a bit lower delay like 1 second for example it would be a perfect delay for me.
Both of my Nexus 7 and Galaxy S II rotates in exactly 1 second.

I'm actually on SmoothRom now. It could be dependent on the rom, but I'm not too sure.

I don't know if that will help, i have my animations set to .5 and it still takes the same amount of time, if i remember correctly there is no known way to speed it up, even though i wish we could.

Yea I love this ROM but I guess its not compatible with Ripple Lock Screen yet or something. When I use it my screen takes like 6 seconds to unlock, really strange as this was not happening with 2.2.1.
Other than that, PERFECT

Yup I did a fresh install. I have both the ripple lock and the agile lock (sense 3.0) and they both do the same. I found out that they ado work but to I have to use the volume to show unlock (weird) If I hit the power button nothing happens at all.
Been using it for about an hour now...so far so good. No problems and as fast and lite as I remember.
Gonna stick with it as my normal runner if no issues creep up.

To be honest with you I only tried CM7 for about an hour. I just didnt like the look and layout, plus it seems like it comes with so much more things installed (bloat to me). During that hour it did not feel any faster nor smoother than Oxygen. Been using Oxygen since 2.2.1 till now and I have NEVER got a reboot or freeze. Check it out man, you wont be dissapointed.

BLN working for me.
I see this issue on ALL APPS and DIFFERENT LAUNCHERS.
I cant scroll properly when using quickpic or changing screens on lauchers only does it on ICS. Running STOCK. Does not do this when I go back to gingerbread but while on ics its annoying
Can't say that I've had this issue. The only time that my touch screen acts wonky is when the charger is plugged in, then it acts very odd sometimes.

its not lag that I am having. Its issues with say when swiping through pics in the gallery or quickpic where scrolling just sucks
I responded in another post by you (best GB rom or something) and asked why you wanted to change to GB.
ICS is very smooth swiping up down, left right, on any ICS rom. Not laggy at all. However I do have an issue with one app regarding sideway scrolling, but that is a UK specific app, and the dev knows about it. Quickpic scrolling is super smooth for me, and so is on Apex, Nova and my preferred choice, GoLauncher.

i hear you man..same issues here..thats why im back on the silky stock rooted gb.....same thing you say...it is smooth, but its glitchy when scrolling everywhere...noticed the same thing
one more thing, why couldnt they stick to the beautiful gb rotation animation in ics?in ics rotation is a bit choppy, you'll notice it particularly when exiting from apps from the landscape mode to the launcher( eg: mx player)...
so back on good old gb for now

First of all, you should have turned on a light in the room before recording!
Secondly, I do not see the big difference, sorry.
You did not do anything substabtial, you were just navigating in the Installed Apps menu in Settings... That's hardly a point of reference.
Good idea but, if you don't mind me saying, poorly executed and it does not prove anything. No offense.

I was not talking about the first video nor was I commenting about whether the SGS2 is faster than the S3 or not.
I was merely pointing out that your video does not prove anything.
One thing that's bothered me about samsung phones is the 1+ second lag between pressing home and power for screenshot.
I'm kind of ashamed of this because my brother's old iphone4s instantaneously takes screenshots.
Is there some manual way to change the amount of seconds it takes for it to register a screenshot? Or a mod?
Thanks!?

There is an Xposed Module that decreases the delay but I don't see why you'd be ashamed of the delay, there is no advantage or benefit to taking faster screenshots.

At the moment I just set it "transition" to 1.5x and possibly as you mention that Oreo might handle transitions better. I had Pixel 2 recently and it was on 8.1, so maybe that is why transition setting felt just right
