buy the 32gb version.
16gb ends up really being 14 or 15gb and android / touchwiz / stock software uses up about 5-6gb

Even after root & installing CM11 the memory available is 8.9 GB sufficient for app installations but the memory is insufficient for dual boot or running a custom Linux image.
the only way to do it is to increase the memory from 8.89 GB to about 11.7 GB using repartition then i9500 MG1 firmware & then installing a custom recovery and Rom.

hi
can you explain me if it's normal to have only 4 go free in internal sd?
when i connect the 3110 with my PC i've :
for internal sd CARD free 3.32 go on 4.48
can explaine me if it's good......normaly i think that my 3110 have 8go. correct?
existing a solution?
sorry for my poor english
thanks to all
About 4 gb are reserved for formatting tables rom recovery etc so if you have 8 gb version this is normal use external sd and app like directory bind, gl2sd or app2sd
In 16 gb version only free space is 11 gb

of-course you can root the tab even if its not yours, i have rooted my friends tab by their request, as long as they know what you do to their tab, and you know what you're doing, that is not a problem
better you tell them the risk too

Yeah they dont want me to, I root all my own stuff. Ah well not even close to the storage limit.
Although saw sygic allows you to move the map files to your extremal SD and it finds them just fine, why cant other apps do the same
Only having roughly 8gb of space for apps is a pain. I don't know who to be made at either Samsung for not planning the S4 for this or google.

It is up to the developers of the apps wether you can or can`t transfer the app to a external sdcard afaik. If they include app2sd support you can an if it is not supported you can`t.

For quite some time I am facing this issue with Galaxy S4
As the Internal storage is limited to 8GB, so installing Big games like Asphalt 7,8 and FIFA 14 in the internal storage is a challenge.
Earlier on my Galaxy S2, what i used to do was copy the OBB/Data file to 'sdcard/Android/obb'' or 'sdcard/Android/data'. By this way i can install many large games.
But with Galaxy S4 - I9500, this is not the case. DATA files are only recognized when put in phone memory /Android/obb.
Is there any way to solve this issue? Is it only me or others are also facing same problem?

Hi, i would recommend using FolderMount, you can transfer your big games or apps (data and obb) from internal memory to external sdcard, i use it on my i9500 and it works pretty good.......however i also recommend a class 10 external sdcard to increase the read data rate on heavy games like the ones you mentioned above.......

Fear of Bricking it, and it will Void the warranty. If i m not wrong.
And also, Can u give the link to easiest method to root the device. I'll think abt it.

Easiest root: CF-auto root: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219803&highlight=auto+root
Don't worry about bricking as long as you know the exact model of your S4!
And if you are in the EU, rooting does NOT void your warranty as kantjer pointed out in another thread: http://matija.suklje.name/rooting-and-flashing-your-device-does-not-void-the-warranty-in-eu
Thanks a lot Man,
Sadly i m not frm EU. I m from India.

Are you on 4.3 or 4.4.2, also are you rooted? I use Mattiadjs v8 s3 int2ext script on my note 3 and it works flawlessly but the rom and kernel need init.d support also.

I was on 4.3 using v8 s3 int2sd mod but I'm now on 4.4.2 and using v6 int2sd (gs4) mod. I too have the 128gb SD card and it works flawless with this mod. You just need a rom/kernel with init.d support than choose either exfat or fat32 version for your sdcard.
v6 4.4.2 int2sd mod

Filesystem support depends on the kernel.
Both are probably supported with custom kernels.
One or the other will probably be supported with stock too considering the partitions on android phones usually use ext3/4.

IT DOES !!! Every new phone that has Android supports SDHC ... HC (High Capacity)
read description of an app
one more thing is it this app ?
AppMgr III (App 2 SD)
Note:
* Move apps function may not work on your device as manufacture removes the function of moving apps to SD from Android system (not support: S DUOS, Note2, Tab 2, L5-L9, OneX, 7-10" tablet)
