I'll upload a pic in a bit, the crack is barely noticeable

LOL my thought exactly, nowdays people want unibody + SD + removable battery + unbreakable + scratch proof screen, water resistant, bomb resistant soon
Basically a phone that is indestructible not matter what and it must be below 130gram of course and have a big screen and battery.

I've got the TEP, but I was curious over whether or not I have another way to fix this screen before I drop 100$ on it, maybe something to do with the 14 Sprint Return? Anything there that could help me out? Samsung Repair?
Spend the $100
For once it is a good thing to live in South Africa, Samsung is giving us here the following:

1. Buy a cover. This prevents lens making contact with anything you lay phone down on.
2. Never put mob in pocket with coins, keys or any other hard objects.
3. use your Common sense.

I flashed no scratch last week and although it hasn't removed the old scratches it definitely works in preventing new scratches in conjunction with learning to look after my phone

There are several "wipe" functions, but I would research them extensively before using any. You might accidently remove scratches from your screen instead of your camera.
On a serious note. DO NOT MESS WITH RECOVERY.

Does anyone have any idea where the top part of the back plate is removable? Seems a little weird as there isn't anything under it.
My only thoughts are that it could be a place to store the SIM if they bring out a 3G version, or its for some sort of official case which would clip into this

I always use my headphone jack but im very careful not to shove it in. All of a sudden the other day I tried to plug in my headphones and it wouldn't go all the way in! What happened? Can I still RMA my nexus or do i have to pay?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
I have found my jack to be a pretty tight fit. Are you sure you are using enough pressure to insert the plug all the way? It is fairly substantial as 3.5mm jacks go.

I don't think you can change the front casing without the screen since it's one piece like you said. You might be able to sperate them with some prying but it probably won't seat very well when installed again and plus you'll have to buy a screen with the front casing because I really doubt anyone sells them sperate.

Can a cheap replacement battery cause any harm to my galaxy s4? I dont care if the battery is inferior and doesnt perform well because if it doesn't I'll just get rid of it but what I'm worried about is if it will continue to affect my phone after I stop using it...

No, it won't. The battery will just deliver less power. The phone won't be damaged unless it is so bad it overheats or delivers extremely high voltages or something

Not once and not twice, cheap replacement batteries exploded and destroyed the phone.
To the OP, if you want to buy a replacement battery, look at the accessories section http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2165 and you'll see what battery you should buy :good:
