Bug in stock video player? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has anyone else noticed a bug when using the stock video player?
I was watching the demo video, helicopters and when I clicked on the video to bring up the menu in portrait mode the menu drops down but there is serious ghosting/trails. I can't even read the menu.
To test simply go to gallery-video-click the helicopters video and watch in portrait mode for 10 seconds, then click anywhere on the video to bring up menu.
please can you let me know if you also experience this weird ghosting of menu

The one thing I do notice is that the stock video player doesn't display the video playlist in landscape view. That's a new one as all my Galaxy devices up until now used to display the file list in the video player in landscape. Maybe it's something to do with 4.2.2

Yes I've seen the menu bugs too. Also if you use the progress bar to skip ahead or back in the video I can't find a way to get it to disappear again, it stays there unless you flip the phone to the other orientation.

I think this bug came with the new OTA update or was it there before?

Cannot zoom in video playback and youtube??

Just noticed today that when I play back videos I recorded on the HD that the "expand" button to make the video fullscreen has no effect. Then immediately went into the youtube app to test it there and same thing. Again cannot change the orientation. Seems to stuck the way it is.
Can anyone suggest anything?! Thank you for any help!

Media player crash bug

While watching, suddenly the screen goes blank, then every action in the media player is delayed (super laggy). When resuming the video, all it shows is a black screen while the audio plays. Takes a while to go back to home screen after pressing the home button, but once in the home screen everything is smooth again.
I have tried killing processes like gallery & media but it does not solve the problem. I have to do a soft reboot of the phone in order to continue watching my video
p.s i have only noticed this on revision3 video mostly because that is the only video i download onto my phone
Has anyone with a Nexus S ICS 4.0.3 expereinceed this?
You can try using an different app from market instead of stock player.
RockPlayer works very well for me.
Is this issue with a single video or every video on the phone?

Facebook "Related Videos" in App

Does anyone know how to get rid of the related video's that come up whilst trying to watch a Facebook video in portrait?
They take up at least a quarter of the screen making the video small, it's not really possible to watch a portrait video in landscape.
I can't find any setting for it in the app settings itself, unless I've missed something. I can't even full screen the video.
Someone must have an idea?

TIP: Always Start your Video in Landscape

I figured out what causes my Videos to get messed up.
You MUST start the Video in Landscape.
If you start the Video in Portrait and then Rotate the phone to Landscape your video will be hosed.
Cant say i have this problem but i also use mxplayer

Facebook video problem

I'm having trouble with Facebook video. Usually tapping on videos it will play the videos but now when I tap on the video there's nothing happening as if I didn't touch the screen. On images it works when I tap the images. Only videos I can't tap on it. Anyone else have this kind of problem?
Any help please? I've tried uninstall and install back it's still the same... I'm on stock unrooted
I sit with the same issue. There is a setting in fb that allow video to play directly, depending if you are on wifi or not. Mine is set to play video on wifi driect, but sometimes the videos don't play when scrolling down through the feeds. . When clicking on the video it still doesn't play sometimes. What I did and it works every time, when clicking on the video it opens the video and nothing happens. On the right hand top of the video there is 2 arrows pointing up and down or at an angle away from each other. That is to maximize the video. Maximize the video and it will begin to play.
