HA! I don't know what I was doing 5 years ago that I needed an account here, but after just picking up my Nexus 4 yesterday, decided to get into tweaking. Went to sign up and it said my email was already registered.
I've lurked here and there, but this was the first time I needed to post something.

I'm on the same rom and it gives me the option. You have to select "status bar visible" before the option is available.

It's good to know that you found it, now how about sharing what you've found with the rest of us? That's kinda the point of these forums!
I haven't found any one click root options for the a500 on ICS yet. Would be nice to know if there is one.
What a useless post without sharing your findings.
Maybe they are referring to this:

It was originally done for the leak but [reading on to around apr 21st [page 9]] it might work for OTA. If anyone tries it, post back.

[Q] Did I just kill my Nexus 4 ?

Hello there
I'm running on a Nexus 4 16Gb rooted, was using the ROM uXYLON of the 06/27/13. I gone there : https://plus.google.com/communities...1/stream/bd8a3d88-3471-4212-8612-20ac002c6983
I saw there was a new "stable" update, but I did it too fast, and downloaded the one for GS4 instead of Nexus 4 (punching my face).
Of course, smart as I am, I flashed it.. BEST MISTAKE EVER, totally messed up my Nexus 4.
I passed all the night trying to restore it, using adb/fastboot or Nexus Root Toolkit to finally achieve to get back the fully stock 4.2.2 Google ROM (with stock recovery, boot, radio, userdata).
But it was too late.. Everything is still messed up, when the phone is powered on, internal memory isn't detected, so I can't go into camera or galleries for example. And the best for the end, baseband is "unknown" in the informations of the phone now, same thing for IMEI, all the signal/wifi/data related are f*****d up.
I looked for a long time on this forum and others, saw them talking about /efs would be corrupted, I tried flashing other radio version, but nothing is working, can't get back any signal or something else, i'm so crazy atm..
So here we go, I'd like to know if there are some genius here who could be able to help me and my stupid brain, or just tell me to say hello to Google SAV (=after-sales service) and prey they accept to change my phone..
Thanks for reading, and i'm sorry to kill your eyes in this morning with my english (reason : french noob).
:crying:

Wow, what a process. I guess in the future always make sure what your flashing is supposed to be what your flashing. Never bricked a device yet or ruined it's partition table.

It's like the Nexus 4 users are getting dumber/more careless everyday.
I have to admit, it was kinda hilarious to see what the first derp did, but now it's just getting sad.
Do you guys even read what you're flashing before you flash it?

I don't know if Google will help you, I mean, you're rooted and, I can't stress how important this is, you flashed a GS4 ROM - the fact that your phone stopped working is entirely your own fault.
It worked ! Yosh !
Thanks to you guys, just need to do the 16Gb method now and it will be fully ok, big thanks !

I guess neither of you read the part of the post explaining what it is you're installing on your tablet.
The app has no proper UI yet, only a skeleton "UI Skeleton" that does nothing aside from telling which Panel installed on your tablet is detected.

How does S2W work?

Hi, I just tried out Touch Control and its amazing. I want to know how does sweep to wake work.
I read the developer saying the digitizer turns off when you lock the screen, so basically how does the phone monitor my touch? Also, will using this for a long term have any effects on my touchscreen? I hope not, because I'm hooked to this.

Bump, I can't believe no one is even interested in how it works. I really want to know?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
I dont know, Im using touchcontrol with doubletap2wake and works fine, better than s2w, battery life seems the same and it does work even after hours with the screen off
I've been using it since january-february without any effects/issue on my touchscreen, my phone is almost 1 year old

just ask in the touch control thread..there you will get more answers to your question
Will do. Thanks.

Actually I asked here since this question is more related to swipe to wake and not the app which I believe is just an interface to toggle kernel specific settings.

Is not that no one is interested is that when people want to find out things they generally search them. If you do some searching you will probably find all the answers you need. Also ill effects can only be determined on your end by simply testing out the app.

I've searched enough for this and I couldn't find one thread, one website answering my question. Perhaps you could research too on your behalf, and see if it's at least there after searching, before blabbering like the rest of the idiots here? I don't mind the 150 people who didn't answer, its because they didn't know the answer. But you had to mimic others and say the same things all over again. SEARCH! SEARCH! Yes Sir, I already have, so shut up.
Also, I'm not interested in breaking my touchscreen just "to see the I'll effects". What the **** is wrong in asking a question?

hahahahaha your cute... nothing wrong with asking a question but the same question over and over is like a nagging woman... but its ok my bad do you hope you find your answer or maybe there is no answer to give you since the developer may not want to give out his secrets. Maybe simple testing of your own rom on your own phone will tell you about battery life but oh well... I am just a blabbering fool... keep bumping your own thread and good luck my friend :good:
