Cyanogenmode settings/ Display / Automatic backloght / tick Use custom / edit other levels / There you can find screen and button brightness adjustments. If not then edit build prop values

Galaxy S Settings - Color Tuning

I've been running JT1134/TeamHacksungs' ICS build 3. While running spectacularly, I've noticed the screen has a greenish hue. Was wondering if anyone has found optimal settings to use for RGB color tuning that closely matches the 230,230,270 RGB optimum nexus default tweaked through Voodoo Control. I just want blacks to look deep black, whites to look bright, and there be no prominent color hue. Anyone able to assist?

How to use Cyanogen settings?
How do i use the cyanogen setting, reduce brightness? It's way to bright on normal auto setting.

There is still a standard brightness in Display settings. Turn off auto brightness and set brightness manually down. Have not tried any filters.
I have done that i wad looking to reduce auto brightness amount.
I did figure it out. Go to cyanogen settings> display> backlight> custom settings. I'm the grid reduce the amount for the different levels then click save and apply.
*observations:
1) reducing by 2 makes a good difference.
2) to get settings to stick sometimes i had to uncheck use custom settings.
3) reboot to get settings to stick if uncheck didn't work.

Use samurai kernel, normal brightness goes much lower, or, use app called "screen filter"

I been searching for this answer and have yet to find it. Is there an update?
There is no brightness slider on Verizon.
Best I've got was the brightness button on the notification bar. It has 0, 50, 100, and a custom setting (whatever display is set to in settings). I have mine set to 25. I use 50 normally, 100 outside, and 25 at night. Works well.

Since Verizon's version doesn't include it...there's an app for it. Check it out!

Using Whatsapp to configure the LED settings or using something like Lightflow? I had an issue with my Lightflow preferences which I solved by keeping the Notification Light toggle on but disabling all of the specific notifications LG set. It almost seems like a conflict between Whatsapp (or other app) and the stock LG Notification Light settings.

Hi guys,
For those who want to use led notification, here are what you should do:
1. Make sure your WA is the most updated
2. Go to WA->Setting->Notifications->Light
3. Choose your desire light color, only red, green, and blue color you can chose cause that the colors supported by G2

Why not take the phone back and get a replacement

Can we dim the menu and back keys?

Hey guys I recently bought the Lux Auto Brightness app which dims your display according to your environment. I would like to dim my hardware keys because when I'm in a pitch black room the keys are still bright......Any ideas would be awesome. Thanks

Up to my knowledge you can only shorten the duration of the back lit keys or turn them off completely. Settings>Display>Touch key light duration. I have my keys to not lit up at all and i like it.
