button lock program for universal

Does anyone know of a program that will lock the buttons of a univeral (especially the phone buttons on the side) whilst the phone is in your (BIG) pocket.
This was a feature of the WM5 rom on the himalaya but appears to be missing on the universal.

under settings -> buttons -> lock you can activate the option: Lock all buttons except Power button, but this doesn't deactivate the phone buttons.

Backlight Button Faulty?

Hi,
Since i bought my Universal as the xda exec ive had two problems.
1. The touch screen stopped working keyboard worked fine. This was solved after a rom upgrade.
2. The backlight button does nothing
Isbnt the backlight button suppose to turn backlight of? if so why doesnt mine?

dunno about q1 but as for q2, the backlight key only turns on the backlight whe n the screen times out. Astonishly useless by design! You can remap it to use it like any other hardware button tho (with a bit of registry tinkering). Search this forum for how to.

There are 2 type of backlight:
(1) the screen
(2) the keyboard
the backlight of the screen you can turn on and of via the on/off button at the left side with which you turn on/off the device. For turning on and off the backlight without turning on/off the device you must press and hold the button.
the backlight button at the front is only for the keyboard. But this only works, when you set in the settings, that it should not use the light sensor to regulate the light.

I found this a bit strange.
On my Qtek 9000, the backlight button (on device side) does nothing (even if light sensor not used).
The one which does this, is the 'SYM' key on keyboard... :?:

Ok, now I try it out. I was wrong: the light button at the side does absolutely nothing :shock:
so for what is that? how can I put a function on it?

lol, this is totaly true, on my o2 exec i thought i try it by disabling the sensor and it didnt do nothing. Whats it for?

Maybe it will have a function in a newer rom?

Hardware volume button not responding ?

Just did this:
- installed newest Qtek dutch ROM
- installed smartkey (for overclocking)
but now my hardware volume button isnt working anymore. At least not as it always was before. Now i can change volume, but just when I'm in the phone screen. I want to change it when im not in the phone screen.
any ideas ?

Disable Red/Green Keys when Screen is off ?

Hi there,
Is there a regkey to make sure the virtual buttons wont work when the screen is off ?
Example : I'm in a call, I press power to turn off the screen, but the device in my pocket...
Currently : if it press accidently the Red key... It hang the call. (baaaad)
Ideally : it wouldnt do anything except if I press again Power.
Any idea?

I think that 'aebutton plus' will do what you want...

Anyone has a better idea/tip ?

I tried S2U2 (Slide 2 Unlock 2) for this but it does not lock the buttons during a call. Maybe TouchLockPro??

I solved the problem with AEButtons Plus.
I set the red and green button to doubleclick, which works fine.
In S2U2 you can disable the two buttons as well.
Just look for the S2A Answer/End Keys in S2U2 Config

Soft buttons

Hi, i have problems witch software buttons HTC HD mini.
My questions are:
1) Can reduce light of software buttons?
2) Can reduce vibratons of software buttons?
3) Can completely turn off light software buttons?
4) Can completely turn off vibration software buttons?
5) Can set time lighting from 10sec to 3sec when press software buttons?
