[Q] Random delete of stock Gallery App - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

- What I've noticed is the gallery app gets randomly deleted and I don't know why??
Gallery Version - 1.1.40001
Android Build - JDQ39
I'm running stock rooted nexas 4 with clockwork recovery.
I restore when I notice its gone from titanium backup.
If anybody could shed light on this it would be most appreciated.

[Q] Camera+Gallery missing after installing CM10.1 and gapps

I've installed cm-10.1-20121221-NIGHTLY-mako.zip and gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip on my nexus4.
However, the camera and gallery app appear to be missing after doing this. I can still access camera from the lockscreen.
Is there a solution for getting the camera and gallery app back?
Thanks
Verify that the packages exist in the ROM and gapps, and if they do, just reflash.

Camera is integrated within the gallery.apk

I see googlegallery.apk in /system/apps but it says "No Install" in the file explorer. Trying to install it also fails.
I have the same problem with my nexus 10 with cm10.1 rc1. Got a solution?

Contacts app in [3/11/2013 R3][ROM][JB4.2.2 CM10.1][The Fusion][Speed | Lean | Tweak

The contacts app has stopped working.
Have trying to delete the app data, but each time I sync from Google the contacts app crashes on startup.
Was working before and also have verified another tablet (Asus 300tf with stock 4.2.1) which successfully syncs.
Version of contacts: 4.2.1-eng-tun_sd.20131031.152342
Is it there a version conflict, as latest version in fusion is 4.2.2?
BTW' have try to use R2 , but it also is not working.
Any tip how to proceed or is there an contacts apk from stock which OK can try?
Thx

[Q] How to find out which app cause random reboot?

Hi,
Since the last 2 months (maybe the last android update), my nexus 4 reboot ramdomly. Do you guys know a way to find out which app causing my those reboot (I've already install catlog)? Do you guys witness the same behaviour?
It would be nice to fix the problem without reseting the phone.
I'm running stock rooted android JWR66Y. here a list of the app using root access:
- ad free 0.8.64
- greenify 1.92
- permission manager 2.0
I use apx as launcher.
Thx
Right after reboot grab your last_kmsg log

Hi,
what to do with last_kmsg?
It shows lots of numbers, some info etc.
and last line saying: Last boot reason: kernel_panic
How to understand this log?
thanks
What kernel are you using? Your kernel Dev will likely be able to assist.

Chrome is the issue. If you guys want a easy way to take logs use syslog app from playstore

Can't install Pandora 4.4.2

I just recently installed CM11 and after the first nightly from the M snapshot I can't install Pandora. I get to the installation in Google play then a -24 error. I have tried side loading it and same error. I also tried to do the titanium backup fix but same thing on both through play and side loading. I did start out with a fresh install, my first install caused a bootloop. The only thing that I haven't tried is a full recovery through the factory image. Any help would be awesome
