For General Information: While you are thinking its Android 4.0 it still remains 2.3.6... There is no ICS for SGY
Now, Getting to the point!- As replied by Sanny5 with the the link to Samsung Smartphone USB Drivers in the above post would work.... You can also install Samsung kied for the following purpose
For Odin Flashable Firmwares refer to Doky73's thread in the dev section! For how to use odin use the search box at the top-right!
Press Thanks! Lol

don't believe there is an ICS for SGY,
we have CM9 though which is based on a REAL 4.0.1 but it's very unstable and unusable

Well i downloaded the USB Drivers but still it does not Recognize.
Did what i can, but still nothing.
What em i gonna do now? >.<
And i forgot. The CPU was Overclocked to 1.2Ghz? Does the kernal has to do with this?

Could be there is no cell coverage in Heaven?
Joking aside, check the simcard is inserted correctly, is the simcard detected at all?
Is it in Aircraft mode, is there a PIN for the simcard, check with another simcard, if all else failed, what about trying another baseband.
This question has been posted in the wrong forum, it should be in General or Q&A section.
sounds like you have some conflicting entries in one of your files. usually in either build.prop or init.streak.post_boot.sh
Did you recently update it to a different custom Rom?

ok sorry my mistake
actually i came back in forum after two years i think
What carrier are you on to begin with? You havnt mentioned it and noone can guess as we dont know where you live either
set came from USA
wanna use in Pakistan
on 900 band
What carrier is it? the US streak doesnt support 900mhz for 3g
carrier is Mobilink
If I were you I would flash the stock recovery (not using the tool... I've seen that do more harm than good because it allows for getting things out of sync) the latest retail is 360 so go with that and then flash the stock Tom manually and see if that helps

Info
Away We Triangle counter resets when you restart the counter fona returns to the nabitego
it seems that Samsung has applied additional security in the form of a red exclamation mark in the upper left corner and the security work that way with reads what we call the state or if we modified it automatically poking our custom binary 1 and the entrance to Cwm counter also can be stamped and we see a red exclamation mark
If we want to get rid of it before putting it into service must reset the counter but do not let that system went off which is the original and converted samsung logo remove the batteries and put me back and enter the download mode (do not start before recowery mode) and upload the previous rom and do wipe system / data and cache

OH1 questions

Hi. I just flashed my L720 (Sprint, using Ting) to software/baseband version L720VPUGOH1. I am pretty good at what I am good at as far as these phones go - no expert by any means. I just want to make sure I have everything in proper order and am running the right kernel, etc. to go along with the firmware. I tried CM12.1 and other roms, but just never got data, messaging, and other things to work just right. Now I am back to "stock", rooted, Philz recovery, Greenify, and App Quarantine.
My other info is below. Does it look ok, or should I be running something different kernel wise? Just looking for a smooth performance with decent battery. I don't leave my data or wifi on all the time - just when I want to use it.
I am not asking which kernel or tool is the best. I just want to make sure I am using things that match up and work well together.
Kernel version is 3.4.0-4745659

All this tells me it's that you're running stock OH1, I'm not sure what could be wrong but I don't see anything. The only Kernel that I know of that you could use is the Aurora Kernel I ported for Wicked X.

Thank you. I'm not saying anything is wrong. I have noticed the battery drains faster than the previous version of stock (OD2), but I was mainly concerned that flashing back and forth from rom to rom I may have not put things back in proper order. I don't know - I guess I worry too much. Thanks for the info - I may check out that kernel to see if battery life improves.

No WiFi or Mobile Data After Unroot

I recently decided to unroot my Galaxy S4 SGH-I337 from AT&T using the methods and the downloads from this website here: http://www.androidrootz.com/2014/03/...xy-s4-sgh.html
Now, when I turn my phone on, neither my WiFi or my mobile data will work, and if I try to turn my WiFi on, I get a popup from Security Information that says "This device has detected an application attempting to perform actions that are not permitted. These actions have been blocked.
I've tried pulling out the battery, I've tried turning WiFi power save off from the dialer menu, but neither one has worked. Not to mention my device is so old now it's probably out of warranty. I'm not really sure what to do from here.

The unroot app probably screwed up your kernel. To unroot your phone you do not need another app. You can do full unroot from the SuperSU setting.
Please tell us your phone android version, Bootloader version, baseband version , etc..
Please backup everything. You might need to flash just a kernel or just a modem or full rom or full firmware.
I'm running 4.3, I believe my bootloader is I337UCUEMK2, the baseband is I337UCUFNB1. Do you need to know the kernel version?

If I knew the kernel it would help. You have jelly bean bootloader with kitkat modem. It appears that your kernel and modem are not communicating after the unroot.
It could be fixed by flashing the kernel and if it is not work or it would give you the softbrick, you might need to flash the whole firmware.
There is MK2 firmware on this forum. However, yesterday I was helping someone who has the same problem as you do and the MK2 firmware did not work. He had finally to flash the NB1 firmware to work again.

That is exactly what happened to the another person that I mentioned in my previous post. If you go read that thread you will see it.
You and him has the almost the same problem and I think you will need the same solution.
I could copy and paste what I said from that thread. But please go and read that thread and follow the instructions that I posted there.
If that is not solved your problem we will think of another route.
