Xperia X1-somethink grumble inside??

Hi i have question. In me Sony Ericsson xperia X1 from first day somethink rattling in side.Exactly in high side ceel phone (around picture camera lens)If i only litle shake with this cell phone you can easy hear this ratttling. You have this problem with your Xperia???i makc phone call to sony ericsson technic today and he said. This rattling is regular.if you have any experience let me now please?Thank you.
Dont worry, it is for all the X1.
There was a thread here for the same "isue"
it's one of the buttons...
Rattling
No it not one of the buttons im sure about this this rattling is inside the cell phone.
it's the lens
Hi,
that noise you hear is the lens in a certain focus position.
I found, that in a certain position the lens it moves and makes noise.
After using a program called QuickMark, my lens keeps moving and to fix it I've to open the camera and press the camera button till it moves the lens for changing the focus.
After that, no more noise.
There are actually two different sources for the rattling noise.
If you shake you your phone up/down in it's horizontal position you will hear the lens. If you shake it up/down in it's vertical position, you will hear the supporting wheels for the sliding mechanism.
I dont think its the support wheels for the sliding mechanism, i beleive its the touch D pad that makes the rattling noise
Try holding the touch D pad and shaking it - the rattling noise will be significantly lower (considering the camera rattling)

I thought that too at first, but by holding the touch pad you also give the screen part of the phone a press enough to letting the wheels rest on the keyboard part, thus lowering the noise. When not pressing the two parts together, the wheels have no contact to the keyboard part, which give them free movement to rattle.
really?, I'm pretty sure its the Dpad, try wedging like a bit of paper between the touchpad and Dpad keys [thick enough to stop the touchpad from moving] then try shaking - rattling solved for me . . .

Nah, not for me.
Conclusion: we have three rattling noises depending on the individual phone. Mine is the supporting wheels and the camera lens, not the touchpad. Yours the opposite.
Glad I'm not having all three of them. On the other hand, it really doesn't bother me, just curious where the noise originates from.
i just notice that mine was doing the same thing 2day. actually i just heard it.
for it its the wheel. cuz at first i dunno wat it is. but then i got a pin and held the wheel down and then shook it again but then no rattle occur.
is this normal?????
i kinda want to get it fix since it did cost alot. and i only had this phone for like 20 days...
it is the sliding mechanism, try pressing the 2 parts of your x together (closing the gap between the screen and the KB) then shake it again, you will find it's gone.
check here for more info

well by pressing down on it it does stop for the time that im holding it down.
but is there a way to fully solve this loose wheel on the sliding mechanism?
i don't think so,
soon you will forget it's there, don't worry
lols yea...i hope so...i just spend soo much on it...i dun want it to just "fall apart" lols
but thanks for the info
It's the camerabutton. Touch it..it's a little loose.
Lol
Who actually shook their phone hard enough to hear this? I just shook mine and I can hear what is said to be te lens but is quite possibly the d-pad, and what is certainly the tiny rattle of the little slider wheels.
Barely noticable, especially since I don't go around shaking my Xperia.

loose part sound when shaking topaz

not sure if this is normal, just noticed that when I shake my topaz I'll hear a small ticking sound, like some part fell loose inside.
Is this normal or that's part of the the G-sensor thing?
anyone else having the same problem?
I've got the same thing going on. It might be normal, but i have no idea whats making the noise.
I think that is just the vibrate motor, since my Pure does the same thing.
I just shook mine fairly vigorously then, and no sound whatsoever.
when i shake mine i can only hear low ticking sound that cames from power button.
The power button is a little loose and it can be shaked by front to back direction with finger as well.
but when i shake d2 with holding power button, there is no sound.
Stop shaking it!
Hi
Not a sound from mine, no matter how vigorously I shake it.
I would stop shaking it if I were you - if it's working, don't tempt fate!
Cheers!

thanks, yep I think it's the power button that's making the noise. no more sound if I put finger on top of it.
gravity sensors in most devices usually have a little rattle to them, it's completely normal.
The only normal sound the topaz makes while being shaked is the lens of the autofocus camera.
There`s been a topic about the exact same thing already.
Yes it is the lens. Take a picture and listen very carfully: when the picture is taken you will here a soft clicking/ticking sound (same sound it makes when shaking the phone).
the clicking he means/meant is the power button. most d2 users will know this.
Whatever it is that's making the sound, I agree it's normal. I have a Pure and a Topaz and they both do the exact same thing. I can get it to sound by lightly tapping on the back cover up by the camera lens.

stragne clicking on case near mic

My streak has started making a very noticible "click" noise when i press on the case, bottom left near the microphone hole, Just to the left of the home button. Now i havent taken my phone apart, but it sounds like however the piece just under the screen is attached, its somehow coming apart ever so slightly...visually it looks perfect still....doesent appear that the plastic piece is gonna come off anytime soon....its just an annoying click that makes it feel crappy. Anyone else experience this?
Maybe the hamsters wheel is coming loose and knocking on the casing, you did know it was hamster powered??
Sorry I can't be more helpful, no clicks or wobbles on my case so far and fingers crossed.

DVP Speakers and Windows button defective?

Hello,
I bought yesterday a german Dell Venue Pro 16GB and I am not sure if it is already defective.
I read everywhere (also in the manual) that uit has two speakers at the bottom of the phone.
But i get sound only from the right hole. If i put my finger on the right hole at the bottom, the volume decreases, if i put my finger on the left hole - nothing happens. And I do not know if it is defective or not?! Can anyone tell me if the sound should come out of both "holes"?
And I came from the HD7. The touchscreen-Buttons did work much better with my HD7. I have to press very hard the Windows Button to get it work. Is that normal?
sorry for my bad english - typos are designed and copyright by me ;-)
Thanks for Help!
BTW: nice phone - much better processed than the HD7!! and FW 212
Only one speaker on the DVP although there are two grill for it on the bottom of the phone. As far as the windows button, I've not had any issues with mine on the phones I've had.
Are you pressing the button straight on or kind of hitting it at the top of sides of the lit portion?

To elaborate, the right grill is for the speaker, the left is the mic.
As far as the buttons, I would just make sure that you don't have your hand covering any of the other three buttons while trying to hit the Windows. Other than that, I dunno.
Thanks for response.
It really has only one speaker even though the online Dell manual told me it has two ;-)
The button was a hardware issue. I went to my dealer and got a new one with working button - and only one speaker, too.
Thanks anyhow!

Clicking noise when pressing on the screen

Press or squeeze your phone so that you're applying pressure to the screen. Doesn't have to be a super hard press. Just press and let go. I hear a clicking noise when I let go of the screen. Almost seems like something is sticking when I press down and then let go. Anyone else have this issue? I'm on my second z3. I like the phone but its starting to bother me how there are quality control issues. My first z3 had light leakage all along the left side. The one I currently have has two tiny pinprick spots of light leakage which is fine but now I have this possible problem. I know the phone is waterproof already as I dunked it right when I got it. Just wondering if this will cause future problems.
No clicking noise here.
Just realized this only happens when pressing towards the bottom of the screen and not the top. The only reason I checked was because someone else on reddit has the same issue.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Xperiaz3/comments/2lagoi/clicking_noise_when_screen_pressed/
omg! i have the same issue. press the screen between the volume key and shutter key. you can hear a squeaky noise:crying:
I have it too. But doesn't affect the phone performance so I'm ignoring it.
I have it near the bottom speakers. After pressing a while, it stops, so I am assuming it's something sticky down there holding the screen.
Mine doesn't appear to have this issue so far.
No noise here, although I have clicking noises when softly pressing the power button :crying: it also moves slightly to the left and right :crying: :crying: :crying: anyone with the same issues?
Y'all have to look up the definition of "issue".
