Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the best and most stable ROM would be to use for my HTC Desire HD please? I have used several now and have found several glitches mainly with the camera and gallery, i enjoy using my phone mainly for games but use the camera a lot as it is certainly a decent one as far as older model phones are concerned. I would apreciate any feedback on this as i am going to have to flash soon as i am growing impatient of the camera on the current ROM.
Thanks
Dan.
I used SVHD rom, and its great for camera and other stuff. But i felt in every 4.0 rom slowing down after sometime. Maybe you can try SVHD Rom, its good.

Comparison threads are not allowed.
If you have questions please look over the ROM and see if it will meet your needs and test it. If it doesn't work try another.

Im running a rooted desire at moment got my dhd today on upgrade i was going to sell it and keep my desire. Is this a bad idea? Just havent looked into the rooting scene with the dhd is it as easy and is thr as many roms ect?

I went from a Hero to a DHD so the jump was massive, but I'm not sure you will notice that much of an improvement over a Desire.
Rooting is very easy if you know what you're doing though, and there are some great ROMs available. Probably not as many as Desire, but the quality is there.
Why not take a look where all the magic happens:

Reading the forums and trying by your self.
I just hoped that sb can share his experience, since there are like 20 sense -roms out there.

I can definitely recommend CM7 HyperDroid if you want something dark, minimal and fast. It's also very stable and only needs a 150mb CWM partition.
I second UltimateDroid, it has awesome customization options.
I'm not a fan of sense, but I'd definitely give it a go. HD2 has 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0!
And you could even try MIUI ROMs aswell, they have some really interesting features. And they only need a small (120mb I think) CWM partition which is always good.

Dear Valued users
Which version of unofficial android do you advice me to use? keeing in mind that it is fully functional and nothing is missing.

The question or which ROM is the stablest is one of those very subjective things. "Stable" means different things to different people, though the Gingerbread ROMs tend to be the most bug-free and feature-complete. There is a ROM index at the development forum listing most of the ROMs available here. Just try a few for yourself.
Well Ok then I mean , Which is the most feature complete??

Like I told you, the Gingerbread ROMs (though the ICS ones are also quite stable and the JB ones are getting there). Beyond that, I strongly recommend that you try several out for yourself. The development forum's index will be a good resource. Additionally, each ROM's thread's first post will describe the highlights of that particular ROM. The most active ROMs will be clustered around the top of the dev forum.
Thanks pal

I have used BlackOut Incredible v3.1, Sabsa Prime v5.0 and TrickDroid v1.1.1.. I advise you to use TricDroid if you want sense 4 and BlackOut Incredible if you want sense 3.6. Both are stable.
Here is an up-to-date list of HTC Desire HD Custom ROMs from XDA.
Here are a few older custom ROM screenshots.
I enjoyed MIUI (Gingerbread version) for ages. The ICS version is also good. Many people like CyanogenMod. As people have said, it's a personal thing based on how you enjoy the feel and look of the UI.
I currently enjoy using Blackout ICS Incredible v3.1.0 which is my first HTC Sense ROM in a long time.
Hopefully ROM threads include screenshots for you to get an idea of things. For the other specs or included or missing things, you need to read the thread.
Of course all of the Desire HD XDA ROMS are listed in the Desire HD Android Development section.
Should it be a rom with sense or not? I would try cayanogen mod 7.2 or andoird revolution hd. but by the way, you are the only one who can say that is good for you
Thanks all. That was very kind of all of you
