Hey guys!
im running CM7 right now and would like to try a Desire HD Rom.
I havent had one on my HD2 yet and before flashing I would like to ask which rom you would recommend for the EU-HD2.
And how is the performance and battery-life compared to CM7?
thanks

Reading the forums and trying by your self.
I just hoped that sb can share his experience, since there are like 20 sense -roms out there.

Hi all, I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=779797 about removing the HTC Sense from HTC EVO4. I'm wondering if it's going to work on the Desire HD too. Is there someone who test it??

It's optional on the EVO 4G, whereas the Desire HD is not. Your best bet is to use a different launcher, I changed ROM to Cyanogen, best move ever, no sense makes better sense.

you can also try a miui build. very fast and eye candy.

I can definitely recommend CM7 HyperDroid if you want something dark, minimal and fast. It's also very stable and only needs a 150mb CWM partition.
I second UltimateDroid, it has awesome customization options.
I'm not a fan of sense, but I'd definitely give it a go. HD2 has 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0!
And you could even try MIUI ROMs aswell, they have some really interesting features. And they only need a small (120mb I think) CWM partition which is always good.

There are several CM7 variants on in the Dev section as well as MIUI.
Check the screenshots in the various threads to get an idea of what they look like.

Hey,
I have the same 'problem'. I'm not too fond of the sense ui. I've been using BlackICE and it is very fast and stable, in my opinion. Give it a go and let me know if it's good. I'm using this until a full/stable version of ICS is released

I would honestly give MIUI a go. I was skeptical at first but now I love it.

My original opinion about MIUI was less than kind. Something along the line of "If I wanted a bloody iPhone, I'd have bought one. Blah, blah." However, out of sheer boredom I flashed Derek's build one day. I used MIUI for a couple of months. Thats, like, a record for me. If you don't like the launcher drop Launcher Pro, Go launcher or whatever on top. The options, popup sms, THEMES (my God, the themes) and raw speed are phenomenal.

Check out TDJ's new CM7 ROM/kang of CM7.2.0. Rock solid, great battery life, and some tweaks of his own that make it even better.

I have been looking for the best Sense ROM for the HD2 with the most stability, speed, and the best battery life, but there are so many, I don't know which to use. Which is the most stable, fast, and best battery life? I don't care which Sense version it is, as long as it's stable, fast, and has good battery life.
I tried many sense Roms the best one I found is : team blue droid TBD(very stable)

Thanks for the reply! But I have two questions: Are you using the T-Mobile HD2 or the regular HD2? (If it has green and red buttons and says "T-Mobile" at the top, it's T-Mobile, if it has white buttons, it's the regular). And the other question, do you have to modify your device/the ROM to make it stable? Thanks.

thanks for this hint - i'll test it too.. im switching arround from cm7 to miui to cm9 to sense and i cant determine which is the best - they are all great
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the best and most stable ROM would be to use for my HTC Desire HD please? I have used several now and have found several glitches mainly with the camera and gallery, i enjoy using my phone mainly for games but use the camera a lot as it is certainly a decent one as far as older model phones are concerned. I would apreciate any feedback on this as i am going to have to flash soon as i am growing impatient of the camera on the current ROM.
Thanks
Dan.
I used SVHD rom, and its great for camera and other stuff. But i felt in every 4.0 rom slowing down after sometime. Maybe you can try SVHD Rom, its good.

If you have questions please look over the ROM and see if it will meet your needs and test it. If it doesn't work try another.
