I'm lost. I got my phone unlocked and cwm installed but adb won't recognize my device. I'm on 4.2.2 please someone. I'm almost there. I am not competent in this so if someone is willing to get on team viewer and do this I'll donate immediately. I'm frustrated. For the love of god help me.

Have you updated the SDK files?
In command prompt with your phone connected, type the following:
adb kill server
adb start server
That should work.
Make sure USB debugging is turned on in developer options.

hey man check this out , http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
theres a tutortial for the drivers when you install that , if you havnt solved your adb driver problem yet. you can even see in the screenshot on that link , it says "Full Driver Installation Guide - Automatic + Manual"
i used that to unlock and root my nexus , its a really nice GUI , made messing with this phone that much easier , most of the work is done for you

You are giving up too fast. As Bob Marley said... "Get up, stand up, Stand up for your rights. Get up, stand up, Don't give up the fight." Follow the post above me.
If you've got the bootloader unlocked and CWM installed, then whats the issue? Flash away.

We can't help you until you give the info we're asking for. Who did you go to? What model is your nexus? What rom are you running? "All rom" doesn't count. Rooted?
I actually have a guy in mind who can fix your phone (I think)!! I read about him in some old book, dude has a soft voice, creeps some people out with his hippy message (all that crap about peace and love!) And was a carpenter before. He's really famous, most people visit him on Sundays, he's like the clean up guy from "Michael Clayton ". I'll talk to him, if he's not busy he'll pm you.

its almost sad how adamant you all can be over something that in the end all ties together into one subject. im not wrong, you all just want to sit on your high horses and pretend that because people like me are smaller on a "rating" system and "dont know what were talking about," when someone like me has been studying this stuff since it started.

Hello there!
I have ported the Jelly Bean to Nexus S from the Galaxy Nexus ROM (JRN84D).
I was earlier trying the SDK port but found it lags a bit (Some times too much!). So thought of porting the Galaxy Nexus ROM. Here is the result!
Before all, A big thanks to DaxMax and Steve676!
Whats working:
GSM/Calls
Audio
WiFi
Bluetooth
GPU
Camera
NFC
SDcard
USB
Google Now (Well it seems! Some one please confirm)
Automatic Brightness
It is soooo smooth!
Whats Not:
Not sure, I did not test it so much. Please let us know.
Camcorder do not work it seems.
One more interesting fact I found out with the Jelly Bean. You can boot to Safe Mode!!! Yes, You can! Press and hold the power down key
and again press and hold the Power Off menu. Look at the screen shots! It will disable all the user application at boot!
Since I do not have permission to post in development thread, I did it here. And I do not find any need to move this thread to Dev section,
since it is only few days before we get the OTA. Also I may not get time to work on it, and add some more fixes (if needed). Looks like
it can be a daily driver for me till OTA comes
But every one is welcome to expand this ROM.
Enjoy!

Thanks dude. Will back up and flash now.

Hey everyone, I just want to get some quick advice. Did anyone feel it necessary to unlock and root when using the nexus 7 or is it awesome enough already? Thanks, I can't wait to get a hold of this!
Edit**
Also if there are any recommended accessories.

Better to unlock the bootloader when you first get it rather then having it wipe your device in the future.

I agree with the other poster, might as well unlock the bootloader in case you decide to root, I run stock + rooted for my sixaxis controller, but stock is awesome otherwise! Welcome to the fold!
I am not putting this in the development section bacause:
1. I am not the Dev.
2. I don't want the responsibility of maintaining a thread. It's a lot of work for very little thanks!!!
After reading about and using most of the rom available for the N6, I have found this to be the most complete rom available. So, I wanted to share this with all my fellow N6 users. Everything works, even NetFlix. It even has OmniSwitch so you can turn off the navigation bar.
You all have used custom roms so you know the drill of how to flash and if you screw it up......it's all on you...and you do have to flash SU to keep root. Broken Gapps can be found at Android File Host. If you try this Rom and find out it's to your liking, follow the community on G+ at BrokenOs.
