PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT. This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
PER-APP-COLOR, Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

Had the same but I think it's the issue with the base of the rom from Olddroid
Related
Here is a ROM I cooked up for personal use until further AOSP progress has been made. It's very similar to the "SuperClean" ROMs I used to distribute for the Fascinate.
Nearly all Sense elements have been removed (Rosie, ALL widgets are gone, etc), leaving only the Phone/Contacts/Cam/FlashLight Sense applications. They have been replaced with AOSP versions, some borrowed from CM, some straight AOSP builds with a few of my own slight modifications. All apks/jars have been deodexed and zipaligned for anyone wanting to theme them. I have not touched any framework images, have only changed out a few images for some of the AOSP apps so that they mesh better with the Sense theme. All Google apps have been updated to the latest versions.
* AOSP apps *
Calculator
Calendar
DeskClock
Gallery3D - CodeAuroraForum
Launcher2 - GB version, modified to allow app uninstall from long-hold over trash can
Mms - CM
Music - CM
* Additional apps *
Car Home - Google
FileManager - CM
FlashPlayer 10.2
GenieWidget - Google
GoogleVoice
* Other stuffs *
includes Adrynalyne's modified boot.img allowing perma-root on adb
AOSP LockScreen
busybox
working su/Superuser
rw/ro scripts (simply type rw to make /system writable, ro to set back to read-only)
Thunder startup sound removed
*** V2 - 3/27 ***
fixed sync-related FC issues - thanks 760hacker!
fixed Calendar (removed the big Android wtf?)
added bash / terminfo
remove HTC SetupWizard and replaced with Google version, allowing removal of Backup Assistant
added Market versions of Twitter / Facebook
removed broken Dock Settings option from DeskClock
removed lots more unneeded files
*** You MUST wipe data when flashing this ROM!! Please don't post of any issues if you do not do so!! ***
*** You will NOT go into the SetupWizard automatically any more. Open Gmail or the Market to launch the SetupWizard ***
Since so many apps have been changed/removed, it would be a good idea to wipe data before flashing. MAKE A BACKUP! YOU ASSUME ALL LIABILITY FOR YOUR DEVICE!
I have not yet encoutered any bugs, but things have not been robustly tested. Please let me know if you find any. Enjoy

Mike was wrong, like JT said this is like his supercleans from the Fascinate, looks removes sense elements, like the launcher it uses. I just flashed this and it looks like the 2.2 launcher. I will try to post screen shot of home page soon.
EDIT: Here is a picture of my home screen, new launcher, sense launcher is gone.

CyanogenMod 10 Discussion Thread
for my friends that already download and are using it...
does the preview 2 includes de things that were merged in cyanogenmod jb right before the build?
i mean.. does it already have the options of:
Framework: Port CM9 features to CM10 (WIP) (Part 2 of 2)
This commit includes:
- Power menu Reboot
- Power menu screenshot
- Profiles
- Lock screen Calendar
- Lock screen Weather
- Notification light customization
- Battery light customization
- IME Selector notification toggle
- and a few more things to support Settings
that were merged earlier?
thanks
For anyone having problems with Superuser
Open the superuser app - slide left to the info tab
Now hit the su binary v3xxx section
hit update... then update again "that was cool, do it again" button..
should now not prompt continually over and over again
Do we need CM9? Will ParanoidAndroid work also instead?

thanks! i still thinking if it is worth instaling it, i hate the touchwiz, i got my phone today, this is the first time using the stock rom for more than 5 minutes and i hate it, can anyone post how it works and what isnt working pls?
Very nice! Congrats for the work!
May I know if it'll eventually come to the LTE Note 2 N7105?
Can you do anything about the color saturation? I'm using Voodoo to help but it isn't enough. On the stock rom there are several settings in display to mitigate this problem (dynamic, standard, movie and one other.) Supercurio?
On a side note (pardon the pun) does the CM10 camera have an auto focus? I noticed that pictures look 100x better on the stock rom vs. Any of the aosp based ones.

Here is the log cat for the GPS issue that I'm facing. Thanks dev.
Another minor bug (i've replicate it several times) is that the "remember preference" does not work in the cm file manager. Awesome file manager though.

Just a quick question: does the hwcomposer work now for the exynos 4412?
It seems this is the part for project butter to keep the fps @60.
EDIT: found my answer in the CM buglist (UI - bug-choppy animations)

+1 Doubt we'll see it in the near future though. Been looking for a Dev interested in porting it over to us and there's a little interest but not much sadly. Would be awesome to add the changes necessary for this to work on both devicesor even a "flash pack " type thing.

Yes, sure.
I have been on utacka PA before CM10. (doesn't matter I think)
1. Wipe data/factory reset
2. Install CM10
3. Install GApps
4. Wipe again
5. Boot

First!?
I've never posted first before but I see quite a few people do it and don't really see the point in it. I suppose I'm following suit

Can't wait to try this! I'll get it on my phone when I get home
ROM is good but no option for reboot or advanced reboot , makes applying overlays a bit time consuming. looks pretty good otherwise. Hope you can add the reboot in your next build. Thanks!
Did you build this with the CM Device tree?

But the photo quality of other camera apps are not good. Too much noise. I have tested and compared. Only stock camera has good noise reduction algorithms.
Thanks for such a good ROM though.

How stripped down as far as features and mods is this compared to what i remember slimroms being?
Isn't Official Slimrom support on the way?
Thank for the ROM!!

Really? I adjust them do that top is silent, middle is vibrate and bottom and loud. If I make the changes, exit settings and go back in, they are back to where they started and do not work how I set them up.
