Thanks to Imilka for the initial bringup.
Thank you GOD !
thanks! i still thinking if it is worth instaling it, i hate the touchwiz, i got my phone today, this is the first time using the stock rom for more than 5 minutes and i hate it, can anyone post how it works and what isnt working pls?
Very nice! Congrats for the work!
May I know if it'll eventually come to the LTE Note 2 N7105?
Can you do anything about the color saturation? I'm using Voodoo to help but it isn't enough. On the stock rom there are several settings in display to mitigate this problem (dynamic, standard, movie and one other.) Supercurio?
On a side note (pardon the pun) does the CM10 camera have an auto focus? I noticed that pictures look 100x better on the stock rom vs. Any of the aosp based ones.

Here is the log cat for the GPS issue that I'm facing. Thanks dev.
Another minor bug (i've replicate it several times) is that the "remember preference" does not work in the cm file manager. Awesome file manager though.

Just a quick question: does the hwcomposer work now for the exynos 4412?
It seems this is the part for project butter to keep the fps @60.

+1 Doubt we'll see it in the near future though. Been looking for a Dev interested in porting it over to us and there's a little interest but not much sadly. Would be awesome to add the changes necessary for this to work on both devicesor even a "flash pack " type thing.

If you're a bloody noob and getting confused by following simple instructions, go down and read about using the noob-proof ODIN method.
First time installing CyanogenMod 9 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
- READ FAQs: http://teamhacksung.org/wiki/index.php/Experimental:GT-I9100:Frequently_Asked_Questions
- Make sure you're running ICS bootloaders lower than LPH! (if you're unsure, flash the CM9 Resurrection Edition)
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
- Copy GApps and CM9 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work)
- Reboot
- Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9:
- Copy CM9 ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Reboot
Using the noob-proof ODIN method:

- Download GApps and put it onto your internal sdcard
- Open Odin
- Choose cm-9-XXXXXXXX-ODIN-galaxys2.tar.md5 as PDA
- Boot your phone into download mode
- Connect your device via usb to your computer
- Wait till Odin has fully recognized your phone
- Hit the start button and wait till the flash process is finished
- Device boots automatically into recovery
- Flash GApps

The RIL crashes still piss me off... Even though it's early software from Samsung, it could still offer at least a little quality!
Props to CM-Team for putting up a good build, even though the original material blows a** ....
Downloading latest version. If, i can stop the gapps crashing and the wake up when a phone call appears, then im keeping it
Anyone with latest build can confirm whether external sd card is working? both for scanning in phone using a file manager and when connecting to pc via usb?
Great idea regarding this thread. But you should mention on first post specifying what is working and what is not and also keep up to date with the latest builds that codeworkx and team release on the other thread.
I know you have already updated first post and looks good but try and keep it in a updated kinda manner so just to avoid any irrelevant posts.
Nice idea and will keep following..And respect to all XDA as a whole.

CyanogenMod 10 Discussion Thread
for my friends that already download and are using it...
does the preview 2 includes de things that were merged in cyanogenmod jb right before the build?
i mean.. does it already have the options of:
Framework: Port CM9 features to CM10 (WIP) (Part 2 of 2)
This commit includes:
- Power menu Reboot
- Power menu screenshot
- Profiles
- Lock screen Calendar
- Lock screen Weather
- Notification light customization
- Battery light customization
- IME Selector notification toggle
- and a few more things to support Settings
that were merged earlier?
thanks
For anyone having problems with Superuser
Open the superuser app - slide left to the info tab
Now hit the su binary v3xxx section
hit update... then update again "that was cool, do it again" button..
should now not prompt continually over and over again

As expected, you guys supporting our device, I hope I can do more contributions to device tree this time. I did sumbit patches to gerrit but just a few were to S2 on ICS, As I do mostly framework or gui stuff, wich is my area of knowledge .
Thanks for developing on S2 even after you tasted omap godness, and have newer devices.
Btw, Noob users asking if they should do fullwipe or things like that in 3, 2 ,1.
EDIT: Ok, they're now spamming dev thread :/

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.3 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*
* Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
* cause of male impotence.
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Just a list of what I have found so far.
No root but this should be fixed in the next update.
External SD card doesn't work.
Screenshots don't work.
If you hit the voice search button on the stock keyboard you need to wait for Google search to force close before you can bring the keyboard up again. I would recommend people disable voice typing under languages and input
The ROM however is silky smooth, once the SD card screenshot and root issues it will be usable every day.
