I got bored this morning

Good going. But where did you relocate the vents and heater/AC controls? Or did you just remove them?
You should have posted this in the Accessories section.

Heater controls have been broken for years I live in a mild climate and the car is just for fun anyways not serious cross country road trips. I simply removed them and set it up for defrost with a switch for the blower relocated. I can revert to the stock setup in less than 15 minutes. Maybe I'll set up a replacement rig for climate controls in the stereo location and hide an amp in the dash somewhere for it.
Just recompiled for a500 trying to get gps working again - not really in a troubleshooting mood :S here's a shot of the new pie controls
I made up a nice bootanimation and background (you can kindof see it in that pic) based around my new guage faces that i'm working on
I still have a lot of work to do on the interior I've got the engine pulled and on a stand waiting on some cash for gaskets rings and bearings, while I was waiting I thought I'd get creative

[Q] ( help ) how to control the Vibrator

plzzzz when i had moved to cm7 i didn't see the control of the Vibrator in the setings/sound : waiting ur solutoins #___#
As far as I observed, although I do not have, neither use one, all vibrators have the vontrol on that round battery cover, where you are putting the two AAA or AA batteries.
Typically it would be red knob to turn on and modify the vibration of the latex part...
I'm only wondering what this is common part of vibrator with SGS

Desk Clock

Anybody figured out a way to get the desk clock mode to work without a dock? My N2 would do it. Why would they remove something so simple and functional. Oh wait... they wanted to sell docks, because spending $800 on a phone that's supposed to do it all wasn't enough.
One of you smart guys need to figure this out.
Edit: Damn, I could have sworn I put this in Q&A. Mods please excuse my stupidity and move this where it belongs.
Okay, so I pulled the ClockPackage.apk, AccuweatherDaemon.apk, AccuweatherWidget.apk and AccuweatherWidget_Main.apk from an old Beans N2 ROM and put them on the N3. The good news is you get the desk clock with working alarm without the need for the dock. The bad news is the fonts are kinda screwy and the time displays over the calendar. If you can live with that, you can have your clock back.
Install the 4.4 kit kat clock... turn daydream on... Select clock... runs the clock in night mode whenever it's charging
Or...
Install the kit kat clock... Open ... hit settings... Select "night mode" ... for use when not charging
Pretty sexy clock ... and has screen saver functionality where it moves around the screen all night.

And normal mode works fine as well I suppose... just doesn't have many shortcut options like the older desktop clocks had

Woohoo
It’s a quadcopter, and it’s tiny
With a wingspan of just 70 mm (2.75 inches), the limited-edition DR-1 is the smallest remote-controlled drone in the world. Four flexible blades generate impressive lift and movement speed, and flights are made simple with ultra-bright orientation LEDs. Did we mention that it’s really, really small?
Automatic 4-axis flips are initiated with a simple flick of the thumb, making aerial stunts impossibly easy. Dual flight mode settings allow the DR-1 to seamlessly adapt to your skill level mid-flight, and a quick, 20 minute charge provides 5-8 minutes of exhilarating flight time. You’ll never be grounded for long.

step 2:
find a copper wire,tie this metal contact;
close your back over;
tape the other end of the wire along the phone, just like the yellow line in my picture:
step3:
launch GPS test.APK, is it works?
this is my ls980's GPS signal after my DIY:

Thanks, works like a charm. I wan't able to get a lock even outside, but "replacement" antenna works like a charm. I even get a lock on the floor inside the house.
Might try it as i still have issues

Oneplus 5 Skin

So I wanted a oneplus 5 skin and seeing as the majority are still in pre order stage I thought I'd have a go myself. I have a vinyl cutter so once the material arrives I'll get it cut and post some pics, but here is the current design. (the pikachu is from a phone wallpaper I found online, so it's not mine originally)
I thought because of dash charge, and one of Pikachus moves being "dash" it seemed fitting.
If anyone else has some suggestions for cool skins, let me know and I'll see about knocking it up.

What vinyl cutter do you have? I want to buy a cutter and make these myself.
Do you already have a template? What format is it?

I made the template myself by using photoshop to draw over the back of the phone. The cutter I use is a Silhouette portrait. It's pretty cool.
their software allows you to trace the shape from a jpeg and convert it to a vector.
Perfect that's the one I was looking at buying.

Have you made the skin, how did it turn out? Do you have the vector file of the template? Would you mind sharing?
