I just received my Nexus 10 a couple of days ago, after rooting it and spending time configuring it I realized there was some sort of battery reporting problem(where the OS wasn't being updated with current battery stats). I googled and found it several people had this problem. How widespread is this problem? Does your Nexus have this problem?
Not widespread, but most people just send it in for replacement for this problem.
Yah, just send it in for a replacement. Or you can try re-flashing the stock kernel.

I sent it back since it was still within the 30 days and i'll just order a new one

I have an unrooted stock Epic 2.2.1 with many UPDATE issues, but this issue started weeks after OTA came through, (for which I have do 2 hard resets that only brought out more issues.)
I have been having an issue with the sensor popping continously when using the touch screen and the tech replaced the chip card which helped for about 3 or 4 days.
Point of fact: the video camera had gone out too and he said they were on the same card. The new card fixed the camera permenantly.
I am searching for examples of similar issues on reputable sites like XDA to show his head tech who had never heard of it and thinks he knows everything. Has anyone else had this problem? My phone is less than 2 months old. And I do not want a refurbished replacement from using my insurance!!!
So I wonder if this is a hardware issue or more of an update issue... any thouhghts?
Thanks!

I updated to .57 the day it was released and enjoyed 4 whole days with no reboots. The problem came back. I finally got around to trying a factory reset. My main reason for the FR is to make sure I didn't accidently install something/do something stupid to cause the problem
Can anyone comment on weather or not it make a difference to factory reboot after the update, as opposed to just the update?
Factory reset probably won't fix it... if it was rebooting before update then was fine for a bit after update then its probably not a recent app. Since you're considering FR consider flashing back to .26 then updating again

.57 includes 'System stability improvements' (loose quote). So far no reboots after FR. just need one to take it back for a warranty exchange.
Its amazing how much longer the battery last with nothing installed. curiously in battery usage menu my usage percentages look about the same. are all wigits under the same process?
I've had a few random reboots...... what's the warranty in these things? I'm pass the 30th day att thing

I thought gingerbread was going to fix the Atrix random reboot issue. Well it has not. Late last night while using the Atrix, poof. It restarted itself. This is probably my fourth Atrix, but it has lasted the longest without a reboot.

It has happened to me atleast twice now ever since updating OTA to Gingerbread.
Phone is just rooted nothing else.
I have never experience this problem on stock or custom roms. You don't have any custom kernels installed, such as overclocking, do you?
In my experience (maybe twice in a month) this happens when there is signal/reception, but no data, and you start pushing the phone my trying multiple data enabled apps.
On both occasions I had full bars/signal yet no data (stupid telco) or very slow data, in frustration I was hitting refresh, opening other apps to kill time / see if it was app or network problem etc. then BAM. Kinda like how a corporate windows build loses its mind if it loses its connection to its domain resources.
Annoying
I had this issue before, and it was an issue with the phone itself not the software. If it is still within your 90 days return it for a new one and that should fix your problem.

no chance for me, in Australia, grey market import
In all honesty not a big deal if it doesn't happen too often
I'm on stock everything on my Atrix. I font think swapping the phone works, like I said this is my fourth Atrix lol.
My reboots happen at random. No specifics are the same at anytime. If I do swap it again though it will be for another phone entirely, but for what I don't know. I know a few people with the Inspire and they've had their problems. I know one person with the Infuse who has yet to have an issue, but either way I'm taking a huge downgrade.

Reboots
Anyone got a solution? I just updated Tuesday and I have had many random reboots. I am having the reboot 3-4 times a day. I never had the issue prior to Gingerbread.
I haven't had any reboot issues on mine nor my GF's, but I agree that it seems to be either the phone or a faulty app.
I know someone that had 2 from early batches and finally had a stable one after returning the others and hasn't complained of any issues since then.
Another co-worker had issues but uninstalled an app that kept force closing and never had the reboot issues come back.
One other thing to try is a factory reset...if it hasn't been attempted yet.
just had my first reboot over the weekend. other than that its not rebooted yet. but its only a week old.
So the past few days my new girlfriend has been the texting me and sometimes for hours. Like today I didn't touch the phone all afternoon and she had to call me to see if I was okay. After we hung up I rebooted the phone and once it came back up I got six text from three people all at once. Text from all afternoon, hours worth.
This is soo annoying and I wonder if anyone else has this issue sometimes?
I'm on Straight Talk unlimited.
I thought maybe it was LiquidSmooth ROM doing it so I switched to the official cm nightly and it still does it.
I searched and couldn't find anything related.

Nobody is having the same problems as me? Maybe I should post this on the nexus g+ page.

I posted this on Oneplus forums but XDA is well... XDA So I wanted to post here too. I'm getting random reboots on the OPT. I just got the phone yesterday and it rebooted randomly 3x while I was on the phone and one time when I put the phone in my pocket. That is 4 random reboots in less than 24hrs.
Anyone experiencing this?
No problem here. Did you try reflashing the OS?

Honestly that never even crossed my mind but that is a good idea. Ironically if this was happening with CM that would've been my first thought lol. I'll try and report back.
Be interested in how you go.
No problem here. Just reflash the complete stock 2.0.2 using TWRP > http://www.technobuzz.net/install-oxygenos-2-0-2-update-on-oneplus-2-android/
I have the same issue, and I have tried to re-flash stock 2.0.2 which didn't solve anything. I wiped everything but storage (can't remember the name, but data was flashed, just not.. storage.)
I issued a ticket to OnePlus who responded tonight that they are working on an update that will resolve this. Not sure that I believe them, but if it solves the problem I'm happy. If not, I'll have to go through RMA-circus and get it replaced.
Could anyone give me a hint as to if and how it would be possible to log random reboots? I have no idea but is there a general core-dump file or something along those lines in android?
Also, OP or TS, did you solve your problems with a re-flash?
To be honest this isn't the first time I've had this issue. I had the same issue with CM on the Oneplus One. Only difference there is that was a nightly. I have no idea why it was happening. I just pushed the OPT off to the side till OxygenOS 2.1 comes out. I'm in Note 5 world now.
I've spoken to OnePlus and they "helped" me with a total reset of the device, but it didn't help so RMA is coming up for me.
2.1 didn't solve it either...

Same here.
Reflashed to 2.0.2 and 2.1, totally wiped several times without results, phone is still randomly rebooting (10 - 15 times per day).
Only when in charge the phones not reboot .......
May be the issue is related to the power HW section....
Ticket opened..... .
Which batch is your phone from? Mine is late August iirc.
Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
where I can find the batch?
i've got the same problem!!
On 2.0.3 i get sometimes to 4-5 reboots per hour!
2.1 seems more stable on the other hand but still around 2-3 reboots per day is not normal!
production date: 9/11/15
You find the batch on the back of the box the phone came in. Might be another way for it but I don't know.

ok found it!!!

I made a ticket also. I hope they can fix my device
Ok, seems like we can rule out batch. Mine is 2015-08-05, so three different dates on three different persons.
Hopefully the RMA will be quick.
Try to flash the full 2.1 ROM

I'll try that if RMA bums out. They (OnePlus) flashed 2.0.2 through qc-thingie, and it rebooted shortly after that.
