[SIMLOCk] HTC LEO / HD2

Hi guys,
I'm wondering if it's possible to remove simlock from this device for free (without paying for codes etc.)
I've checked forum and I dindn't found any topic with that case.
Looking forward for hearing good news from you.

Well I've got the same problem: my HD2 is simlock under orange network and all the websites I've tried can't find my unlcok code (I've tried XDA website links too)
To explain a bit more what's my problem is:
I've bought this phone in early 2010 june in new caledonia (where i live), It was allready unsimlocked, but it was allthough a defective phone, so I sent it back to HTC aftersales in France and they return it to me repaired BUT, as a repair they have change the radio card for a new one that is simlocked.
I've send mails to HTC who told me to ask Orange france and orange france, as I don't have an orange phone number told me to ask HTC.
And no f***ing site do have this f***ing unlcok code... so I'm the happy owner of a simlocked phone I paid about 742€... and non solution to unlock it :'(

What network do you want it on? I'll swap it with mine provided it's in good condition
Mine will only not work on the o2 network. That's the only thing wrong with it

You have to call HTC...they will eventually give you the code.

You will have to buy a code or get the person you bought it from to get a code from T-Mobile if they are a customer of T-Mobile.

Go check out eBay there is a lot of code sellers there. Also check out theunlocker.com

Use Xperia without Sim Card?

Hi people
I jusr recently switched from my beloved HD2 and got an Xperia X10 locked to vodafone Spain
Is there an unlocking solution for this device already?
Is there a way to backdoor meanwhile and be able to use the device without the Sim Card? Since the sim card is not correct it just stands in emergency call option at the bottom and cannot access no syncing options
All help is sincerely appreciated!

i don't know how it is in spain, but can't you buy just only an prepaid simcard for vodafone? here in holland they are pretty cheap and no need to register your name, adress etc etc, just buy it in store here.

Yeah thats exactly what I did this afternoon, until theres a solution it will be fine. Anyhow I found a site link that for 15€ they send u the IMEI code.
Hope that does the trick

In xperia x10 is same Satio in Spain. It needs a sim card because don´t work.

Debranding the phone should resolve this issue with branded devices ,
but i update the firmware to generic version but without succes any advice

Unlock it and you will be able to use it w/o a SIM

HTC Wildfire
Got mine yesterday and on whole I love it just can't get HTC Sync to recognise it as I think there is a option missing in USB connections or I just can't figure it out.

i was going to a shop today and came out with a wildfire for 0,13 EUR and my month plain is 80,39 EUR and with it i have 60 hours talk unlimeted sms/mms and unlimeted data with no limit

HTC just released the HTC Sync™for HTC Wildfire. I suppose this will allow you to sync with MS Outlook.

Got my wildfire on 3 a couple of days ago, and so far really impressed with the little beastie I love how everything just works on it, and doesnt need tweaking. With the exception of HTC's website. It doesnt accept my S/N to download the HTC sync for my wildfire and being able to sync with outlook/exchange is critical for me. Anyone else getting this issue?

Purchased this phone last night, got home, everything is smooth sailing EXCEPT
The APN was not set at the store, and beware the 360 portal (incurred extra fees)
Deleted the 360 program immediately.
Need to use the APN setting but do not know what it would be.
I am signed up for the realmail pro which gave me unlimited access with my htc diamond touch.
Anyone know what the settings would be for Spain Vodafone with this phone?

I went to the Corte Ingles where I purchased the phone, to the Vodafone desk, and the simple answer is>
push
Put the word "push" in the APN network area. Leave the username and password empty.
Worked like a charm. Happy now with this stylin device!!

[Q] Sony X10 faulty (how do you find what country a handset is from?

My phone is under warranty but Sony wont repair it saying it is a non UK model. My symptoms are no power totally dead.
How can I find out what market my phone was from as I have been told I can get it repaired under warranty but just not here in the UK, Which is silly.
They say they cant power it on but seem to know its a foreign non UK handset does anyone here know how they can tell as I thought they had to get into the software to find this out. The serial number is CB511G68C7 if this sheds some light on this.
I fear I may have to sell this on as spares if I cant find out this info, they also tell me they have wiped the phone for data protection but how can they do this if it cant be powered on.
Its so annoying that I can get it repaired but need to find the market/country it was made for.

I forgot to mention that around 6 weeks ago I used a custom rom to get Gingerbread onto it the file version I used was "X10I 3.0.1.G.0.75-1241-1846"
Would this make them think my handset was a non UK model as I did this Generic custom rom using the flash tool but never rooted my handset.
Then again they would need the phone powered up to see this wouldnt they?

Yes I have the receipt it was purchased from Play but I have contacted them and they cant even say what market it was for and all I was aware is that everything indicated that it was a UK model.
Sony s repair centre have also told me that this thing happens quite often from various internet sites.
Surely Sony can tell me or know somehow what market it was made for, It could be Canada, america etc. but could do with finding out.

Helpline not being helpful just dont know what can be done, I have contacted trading standards who say I have to write to play and let them know my rights under the sale of goods act. Apparently its who I give money to (the point of sale) that has to sort this out.
I emailed them this afternoon but no reply back so tomorrow I am sending them a letter by recorded delivery but im not holding out for anything to get sorted.
