Hi pals
Found an interesting NEWS from Taiwan, it looks like SAMSUNG invests a great number of bulks for selling their phone. Including some malicious attacks. You guys who know Chinese may easily understand how Samsung promote and sell by manipulating threads or replies. No sure XDA is under their radar or not~ just have a look!

How is this relative to the HTC One?

Im looking for an X1 replacement batter with the charger. I have this same exact thing for my HTC Touch Cruise and believe me it is a godsend. Instead of sitting there for my phone to charge, I have one in the dock charging all the time. So when I run low to dead just swap and in seconds I have new juice.
Link to the htc touch cruise one that i have
http://cgi.ebay.com/1350mAh-Battery...14&_trkparms=72:1205|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318
unless your a really power user you probably won't need to charge the battery that often given hercules is powering the x1 i think with heavy use you'd be good charging it probably once every 10-12 hours
What about with WiFi use?
I know on my Wizard the battery goes in about 2 hours with WiFi active even if its just idling with Messenger. Have they actually improved that much over the years? I'm hopeful but also skeptical.
WMVWifiRouter will kill your battery in an hour and a half.
I'd be curious to know if there are any reliable aftermarket batteries. Buying any Sony OEM parts are always ridiculously expensive and many aftermarket batteries don't work well with Sony products.
well based on what i've been reading about the X1 it's supposed to have a nice increase in battery life compared to our current HTC phones. supposedly sony made a special project just for the phone codename Hercules it's supposed to be using a 1800 mah li poly in stead of what we use in our current phones which is li ion supposedly using the li poly is going to give the battery a much needed boost that all ppc's need to go all day or maybe a couple of days given the usage
Li-poly batteries is over 20% higher than that of a classical Li-ion battery and they store more energy than nickel-cadmium (NiCd) and nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries of the same volume.
When compared to the lithium-ion battery, Li-poly has a greater life cycle degradation rate. However, in recent years, manufacturers have been declaring upwards of 500 charge-discharge cycles before the capacity drops to 80% (see Sanyo). Another variant of Li-poly cells, the "thin film rechargeable lithium battery", has been shown to provide more than 10,000 cycles.

Mugen battery, my review
I will have a review on this battery later down the road. Im getting one of these from free "10-15 day" shipping. Once I get the battery, and play around with it.... I'll review this battery compared to a couple roms.
Alien V4, Cyan prebeta#4, and one more if I may. APRX of normal use, and running benchmarks. I should get this battery in about 12 days or less-ish.
Let's see how awesome this battery can be!
Edit: I will have close up hi-res pictures also, since I know some people sweat over those... >

Confirmed by multiple sources to fit in Samsung Galaxy S I variants such as the Vibrant, Fascinate, etc. Since it's a Samsung made (read: Not Chinese hackery) battery, the 1800mah is all but guaranteed.
Have since received the batteries in the mail. They fit perfectly in both my Samsung Vibrant and Samsung Fascinate. Initial battery life tests seem to confirm the 1800mah listed on the side.
I see no point in that as you can now get a 2000mah battery from Samsung. It makes your phone a bit fatter and comes with a different cover but it adds some decent juice.
http://blog.gsmarena.com/samsung-re...galaxy-s-ii-gives-you-all-the-juice-you-need/
I might get one later.
So does this one is still the same size as the normal one?
I'd like one for my sgs2

Wow, where to start. First, that 200mah requires a fatter phone. The whole selling point of the 1800mah battery is that it doesn't require a new battery cover, and thus does not require a new case. For the many of us with Otterbox cases and the like, this is very good news. I highly doubt I'd give up my Otterbox for a mere 200 mah. If I were going for an extended battery that required a new battery cover, I wouldn't aim so low as 2000mah, but would opt for the Momax 2700mah battery with the kickstand battery cover, or the crazier 3600mah upgrades on the market.
Secondly, this battery is SGS1 compatibility. The Vibrant, Mezmerize, Fascinate, Epic, Galaxy S 4g, i9000, etc all have 1500 mah batteries. To get a legitimate 1800mah battery that doesn't require an extended battery door is a real boon.
Does anyone know if Samsung do any extended/ higher mah battery for the nexus s?
Received the batteries in the mail today. They fit perfectly into both my Vibrant and Fascinate, and initial testing corroborates the mah rating of 1800.
Can now confirm that the battery is not only legitimate, but holds up to the 1800 mah claims. Quite the steal for $20!
Would this work on a Samsung Focus?
If the Focus is a Galaxy S variant, then yes. Otherwise, no.
How much more does the battery last?
So far, for me, it's lasted about as long as it's rated, meaning about 20% longer than stock.
yo the sprint galaxy s2 epich 4g touch ... ugh so long to say that... umm , it comes with a the 1800 already
I will trade someone two of the stock Galaxy S 1 batteries for one of those.

If NFC ain't working,it is safer to use official.
Other than mAh ,also check input, output volt, etc.

The input and output everything is same as samsung only manufacturer is different .... so I am confused if zerolemon is giving the battery so cheap is it e1 up to the quality standards of samsung ... coz I dont want to fry this device ... can't afford another one for 2 yrs ..
be easy. Never will it fry your chipset.
the sumsung battery is 3.8v in average , 4.35V limited, highest li-ion battery. most other battery is 3.7v average,4.2 limited.
waht's more, inside the phone there are protection circuit and dc-dc circuit to low the battery voltage from 3.5-4.35 to the voltages every part of phone needed.

are you sure about this thing ?
if this the senario then i will buy the zerolemon 3000mAh batteries as they are way cheaper than samsung oem !:victory:
The thing is this:
Any battery, even OEM, has the potential to harm your device, but the Samsung batteries are very high quality and less likely than the super-cheap chinese knock off copies that are made to look like Samsung batteries that you see everywhere on eBay.
A good aftermarket battery, such as Anker (or Zero Lemon or Mugen, etc.) is probably just as safe as OEM, because their quality is also very high, and they carry a good warranty. Personally, I have used Anker in my S2, S3 without any issues at all for years.
zero lemon it is then !!:victory:

yeah, but the potential is very few. There are many protection circuit for the phone. only if all of them failed, which rarely happens.
Chinese battery is always unsafe and ,it has less mAh than it marked.
I'v buy a 2000mAh in my country for S2 whose OEM battery only 1600mAh. I test it on a balance charger for modelplanes, only 1100mAh.
Stick with 'reputable' brands if you're going to use non-Samsung batteries. Not worth risking $800 worth of electronics to find out why the hard way.

Is zerolemon reputable ??
Can't personally vouch for them/not as I've never used their products. But price is almost always a good guide with these things, if they're really cheap, stay away from their stuff.
they are cheap but a lotta people using them ...
So I am confused .... should I just buy oem ?
There's no 'right/wrong answer'. Some people on here have had good experiences with them, some people haven't. I suspect this is because quality of manufacture can vary widely between manufacturers & even between different 'batches' of the same battery from the same manufacturer. For me, I've had one experience with a cheapo brand non-Samsung battery (with my S2) which was a poor one & I was fortunate I could get a refund. End result = I won't use anything other than original Samsung batteries.

so basically its a gamble !
and in my case the house always wins !!!
so i think it will be better to stick to oem batteries ...
It can be a gamble, yeah. But plenty of people on here swear non-Samsung/cheap (as opposed to more expensive ones from reliable companies like Mugen, etc) batteries are fine from lots of manufacturers & they've had good experiences with them, however, if you look through Accessories/elsewhere, you see plenty of people who haven't had good experiences with them.
If you want a battery to work exactly as it should, be at or very very close to the rated capacity printed on the outside, and to last you a reasonable amount of time/give you plenty of use guaranteed (important word), then buy Samsung branded batteries. You know the quality of manufacture is consistent/of a high standard, and if you somehow get one that isn't, it's easy to get a replacement or your money back (and cases like this are rare).
zerolemon says battery for 19$ + 15$ for shipping !!
Lmao ! :laugh::laugh:
i can get the samsung official charging kit and official battery for less than that here !!
OEM it is then !
I have the Anker battery and find it better than the stock battery. Could be placebo but I find it gives me a tiny bit extra battery life.

I would never go aftermarket to be honest. I just couldn't stomach the thought of my phone being denied quality power supply.
May be yes.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 4.
Galaxy S3 Neo has a ridiculous stock 2100 mAh battery which offers a very poor duration. That's the reason I need an extended one. I have tried lots of extended batteries of different brands such as DSK, Anker, and one that I don't know its brand, I bought it from http://www.tucargadorsolar.com/. All of it have offered me a very poor duration. They are supposed to have twice the capacity of stock battery but here are the results that I got with all of them:
Original 2100 mAh battery, 100% charged, holds for 5:30 hours on continuous video playing until it reaches 5%.
Different extended batteries (4200 to 4400 mAh depending on the brand), 100% charged, hold for 6:45 hours on continuous video playing and in exactly the same conditions of the other test (screen brightness, bluetooth, wifi...).
I have repeated the test lots of times and always get the same results. If an extended battery of 4200 - 4400 mAh has a double capacity and original battery holds for 5:30 hours, why the extended one does not hold for the double, 11 hours?
I suppose that I have been testing batteries coming from not reliable brands.
I ordered a battery from Mugen Power 3 months ago, because it is supposed to be a reliable brand. But 3 months later still know nothing about the order I've made, and now they don't answer my e-mails.
What can I do? Is there another brand which is reliable enough to offer me a good duration?
I am really annoyed with this, I have lost very much money and time and all batteries I buy are in a very bad condition.
Well you could just money to buy another phone Anyway, if you're on stock, I can't say much, but using a custom kernel with governors etc, it would be really a great option as with the default battery, it last way more longer.
It's really strange, really. Have you calibrated the batteries right by reading the manuals? Are you sure about the capacities (Have you tested them with a multimeter)? Have in mind (if you haven't already known that) that I9300 batteries are exactly the same, because it's wide known and there are for sure reliable sources. A phone like Neo, is easily targeted with fake things. Last, you should buy from Amazon and read the reviews. Oh, did you try to contact with the companies?
Again, it's very strange....
S3 neo's battery functionality is a joke...
I try a lots of extended batterys baut only one is in right...Anker 7200mah(buy from amazon)
But s3 neo have a "bug"...completly charge of ectended batery is possible just if you replace battery after first charge to "100%" and put on charge again...aproximately after replace cell, phone was display the true charging %...
After 2x 3x replaces battery was true 100% charged...
Discharging is same way....after first 1-2% level replace the batt....it shows aprox. 70% after....
Replace "trick" is only one way to use extended batterys capacity.
