Way to troll to get in your first 10 posts. OP I've had phones also that the screens looked different from each other. Guess it's just how they are manufactured.

Left screen looks brighter and that's all I see.
Right screen is darker but there is more contrast between the clouds and sky.

I have used the Note for a few days, but it became obvious that the screen at the right side is a bit darker than the rest of the screen... (see attached picture) (its my own picture, no gradients in the original)
I went back to the store in Den Haag, Netherlands where I bought it, hoping to get an exchange, but no Now its in repair )
When the screen is at its brightest, it not really shows, but if its at half brightness its pretty obvious...
So, I am back to my iny tiny S2 again, fortunately I didn't sell it yet...

And just to prove it:
This is simply done in MSPaint. Ive taken a sample of colour from the left of the screen and the right of the screen and put them side by side to show even the hard of sight that the right side is definitely darker than the left.

I don't see anything.
We need a more standardized test though.
If you run the facebook applications, is the right side darker?
The blue banners, or the white background? Mine looks fine, and I keep my screen pretty dim to save battery.

Anything.
Good that yours is ok.
It is very possible. My S2 exhibits noticable brightness difference when brightness is set to too high and this difference is only detectable when viewing all white web pages. But for normal use, the lowest brightness settable is too high for me and hence I use app called "Screen Filter". I set it down to as much low as 20% during night or when bed lamp is on. The scariest part I saw one night is a faint unmistakable circle of around 1.5cm diameter only visible in white background while "screen filter" is dimming it further by 50% to 20%.
I tried to capture with my DSLR but couldn't get anything better than I've attached. To naked eye, this circle is distinctly visible. If you do not see circle in the attached image, please ignore coz I frankly couldn't capture better.
Hint: the circle is on the top left of the picture.

You are right, just took the torch to have a look at it, there is pink but not as much as in the photo, Oh well, I mainly use it as a phone.
Is there a way to minimize it or it is hardware?

Indeed. Adjustable, though, through Photoshop in 1 second. Mainly can be seen on "Auto white balance" setting.
Here is one more. Focusing on red-orange gamma, whites in the background also get warm tones.

It's a purely hardware issue. To the extent that it can be minimized is based on software.
No amount of megapixels can make-up for the fact our all camera phone sensors are ridiculously small, and thus cannot capture sufficient light which creates the pink effect. =) It is also for this reason that you will not see this effect when the place is extremely bright (e.g., taking a picture outside on sunny day while under the sun and not in any shaded areas).
Once you know how to look for it, you'll know that this happens across platforms. Camera sensors just suck. Every photo I've seen from a camera phone that is not well lit has exhibited this effect.
You could always take pictures along the red-spectrum. It'll be camouflaged that way if it bothers you. *Shrugs* Or keep flash enabled all the time.
I'm loving this camera!

Your told, lcd is brighter in sunlight which is the main reason your tokd Lcd is superior or at least thay say amoled is inferior. Wrong, its because if default settings by the makers. Once rooted with proper kernel(almost every device has em) you can do with amoled what you cant do with lcd. Double the color multipliers from android default of 200 to 400. I use in order of RGB, 320/320/400 to achieve perfect white and black. Also the battery myth, lcd drains less. Thats bullcrap. Amiled black pixel achives pure black because its actually OFF. that is main reason it uses less power than lcd. Instead if going on and on I will just show u proof. I will show you picture of my LGOG(sprint optimus g) and my even aging gnex side by side in sunlight with my shadow on half the screens to show its actual sunny lol. Pic
2 different pic styles, img and jpeg clearly shows that even with a shattered and pentile matrix amoled screen its brighter in the sunlight. Even did my shadow in it so no one would say....sun wasnt out lmao. Sorry naysayers proof is in the pudding and the gooey pudding is right in front of your face. Proper kernel with amoled is brighter and better battery saver than lcd. Lcd is backlit anyway and most high end phones will use it in the future because it can be bended and manipulated and LCD can't because it is backlit. Only low end phones will be lcd in the future.
I agree with what you've said (I use Samsung phones primarily), but it is true that when displaying white, it uses 3x as much power as an LCD. On mostly black, you're correct; very little power draw.
Tell me about AMOLED burn-in. Since you are increasing the luminosity, I would suspect that burn-in would be faster?
Keeping my eye out for this one...very interesting.

Similar to plasma screen televisions, if you leave an image on the screen for a long time (much more than average), you'll see remnants of it permanently. However, if it's anything like televisions, you can fix it by displaying a white image on the screen (entirely white) for a few hours. I've never had this happen to me and ive owned almost all major Samsung phones. Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S II, Galaxy S III, Note 2, and now S4.

Yes burn in can occur on older like the gnex. Newer amoled is less likely but always set time out of 2 min when color multipliers are set to max. Best settings, for pure white is ,320,320,400 rgb color multipliers. Sorry should have talked about burn in,my apologies .
of course

Just remember in all aspects except maybe battery power AMOLED is superior if your rooted and have a proper kernel (there there look for em) amoled is superior and infinitely more controable then LCD, period. Sorry naysayers look at proof in sunlight

Yeah, it's an unavoidable trait of (AM)OLED displays. The organic components deteriorate with use and result in colour shifts and burn-in.

Haven't even had my screen a year and its starting to deteriorate.
Its a shame because I love the pure black of AMOLED but the general technology is pretty rubbish for a flagship phone.
In my opinion you should get 2 years of life from a flagship phone before it starts to break.

It's not burn-in. This is a known issue with OLED panels. LG's OLED TVs are famous for banding issues like this. It's a simple problem of not being able to supply electricity consistently across the entire panel and some rows of pixels get less electricity and so the OLEDs do not illuminate as much.
