I've read reports of those with the Atrix HD and 1st gen Droid RAZR have the RAZR ME camera working on custom ROMs, but when I use the rear facing camera (front works fine), I'm getting this error.
Has anyone here had success in using it? Is there a quick fix that I'm not aware of?

I'm not having any issues with CM9 so far. Running great. Might be a bad download.
I've tried to reflash three times even the newest release has the problem

Works fine for me.
I flashed it a few hours ago and had no problems with shooting photos or video on either camera.
I tested out the camera quick to see if it worked and I could change settings and also use both the front and rear cameras.
I figured it out, it was a Theme I was using from the play store that was causing the camera options to disappear
Thank you

The phone keeps rebooting unless i shake it. Ive sbf'd it a few times, to no avail. Its like the problem is with the gravity sensor or something. anyone ever heard of this?

News to me, thx!
News for me too, but this camera sucks big time so I probably won't use it much.

The rom I'm using on my Galaxy Nexus uses the new Moto X camera and it really really takes pics better. The stock app always takes blurry apps. CM Focus helps but I like the Moto one.

News to me. However, I am questioning the usefulness of it -- considering the focus and other camera functions are touch-screen. Just another good-to-know-it-is-there "feature" I suppose.
Cool!
Thanks didn't know that!
Wow your right. That's what we get for not reading operators manual.

This only happens with the camera app . on other apps like snapchat and video recording with the front facing camera it works perfectly
